Just an update. I have done a few thousand ks with this unit including around 2000k round trip to Phillip Island and at one point around 10k down a bumpy dirt road. The unit performed flawlessly. I love it. So much easier than fiddling around with MySpin. BTW I removed the Velcro tabs as they were not doing much. 👍🏼❤️

I already have heated grips with its control on the keft handlebar so I mounted my controller down next to the handlebar mount on the triple clamp. Can’t remember but I may have used a strip of bicycle inner tube rubber to pack it out before clamping it on. Cheers.

Or are you talking about the Suzuki switch assembly?

@@plaxsaxyes is it easy to take apart and put some tape on the bar so as it grips when you tighten it up. I don’t notice if it was lose before I put on my heated grips. I thought I may have dislodged some form of locating pin

@@ivanrushtonthelonewolfrides yes, there is a hole in the bar underneath and a pin on the switchblock that locates it. When I swapped my bars I had to drill the holes. You may have broken that pin off the switchblock when you installed the grips? If so maybe try some tape or you may need something metal. Maybe a strip of metal from a beer can?

@ I thought so. If you open the switch is it easy to put back together it doesn’t affect the throttle at all. I was worried that opening the switch I would have trouble with the throttle as it’s an electronic slide
