Hi. Re the S1 pro plus. Can I blue tooth an iPad with my backing tracks channel 3 At the same time use an iPhone on Bose app to control the volumes etc You have been so helpful with the firm wear video I’m pulling my hair out with this pa
I just got a shipment in that the app says they were produced in March 2023. I did the firmware update, but the transmitters also did not show an update available like yours. According to the documentation, it should show on the screen if an update is available.
I updated mine this morning. It automatically updated the transmitters immediately after the main update, putting a message on the screens as it did so, but it was over very quickly, so if I hadn’t been watching closely I would never have known it had done it without checking the versions. They went from 21.0/01.36/22.0 to 22.0/01.36/22.0, so just the first number changing.
I agree with an earlier assessment of yours that it would be very helpful to have mid and a notch controls. (Bose, are you listening?) It would be even greater if those were up-loadable to work with the existing controls... Furthermore, I certainly hope that Bose adds to their ToneMatch list which, for instance, only has two Martin dreadnoughts and the Backpacker but no OM's and especially, none of the SC series? I was surprised to find so many Composite Acoustics guitars, but saddened that my CA Cargo is not on the list. Eastman's PCH series are inexpensive yet sound great which makes them exceptional busking guitars that should be ToneMatched. I'm sure others have favorite guitars that should be ToneMatched as well. Don't get me wrong, this is a very strong speaker with great tone and has replaced my Fishman Loudbox Mini Charge which had less volume before breaking up and had a lot less bass. All that bass is probably why I wish for a notch filter.
Yeah or allow us to make our own ToneMatch. Since the pickups systems I use now are highly feedback resistant it’s not really an issue for me. I think a simple notch filter would be useful for some systems but it would go against Bose’s ‘ease of use’ design. If you use something like a K&K pickup it’s probably better to get the EV Everse 8 but I would rather play a Cole Clark or an Anthem through the Bose.
Thank you so much for this and the live streams on this system. I purchased as well I’m considering getting a second because it is possible to pair them together for Bluetooth streaming. But you can also pair one to a second one wirelessly using the XLR transmitter from system to as the line out from system one. This was an idea given to me from customer service so I might try that.
