Since the release of episode 8 full moon there’s been a fan theory circulating that collin might go back to heaven. I’ll break it down.
So throughout the episode, and even during episode 3 collin stands out as the nicest of the cherubs. Keenie and cletus come across as spiteful and vindictive, while collin seems like the odd one out. He reluctantly goes along with their plan when invading hell.
During the interrogation scene we can see the background light shining over collin’s head. Some fans have interpreted this as foreshadowing, that perhaps in the future collin will redeem himself and get back into heaven.
Overall i think this theory is really fun and i hope collin can get back into heaven somehow. What do you think?

Collin deserves that, he’s been pushed around since they first appeared
If he did go against the other churebs, that would be him "sticking it to the man," which was one of the things adam listed to get into heaven

I mean Collin is the one who is against the idea of stealing someone's wallet and trying to get Cletus and Keenie to tell the Agents what really happened between them and Blitz. Also Cletus and Keenie are so vengeful and want to kill Blitz and all other demons to get back in Heaven, but they don't act as nice or thinking things through like Collin is doing.😕😬

Collin definitely deserves it. The other Cherubs were acting like residents of Hell to an extent. Cletus and Keenie had some awfully sinful behaviors such as making excuses for pickpocketing, only agreeing to help Agents One and Two once they were given a chance to get even with I.M.P., lying about their status in Heaven by claiming to be Exorcists, Keenie being oddly aware of what to ask for in a BDSM shop while Collin and Cletus were much more out of their depth and uncomfortable, and more. Even when we were first introduced to them, Collin was the only one who didn’t show aggression. He got angry but all he did to combat I.M.P., before everyone resorted to violence, was to say that they were just trying to do their job. He never personally attacked anyone like Cletus and Keenie did.

The fact that when collin was trying to shoot loona, he didn’t have a smile, saying that he doesn’t enjoy being sinful
I agree, he had a haunted look about him, like he was becoming desensitized to the violence, it could be foreshadowing to him snapping under the pressure, wether he retains his kind nature is up to the writer's but knowing this show, he'll likely get killed off in a throwaway joke.

Imagine if he temporarily teamed up with the IMP group before getting back into heaven. Assisting against the other two to prove himself even more than he already is. But it definitely seems likely that he’ll get back into heaven.
That would make things more impactful and meaningful, if he gets redeemed while teamed up with them.
Proving that you dont need to be with the other angels or their plans to be redeemed, that your actions just need to be genuine and selfless, for love and care.
The universe is about love, not good and evil. (Im going off my own general stuff not series)
When you genuinely care for others, about how things will effect others rather than selfish actions, vengeance, etc. there is a difference between being selfish, and doing things based on the love you feel for something. If you just love yourself though, and deny spreading it to others...well, you get someone like Adam.
If that happens in the series of Collins teaming up with IMP, that would be epic and if he gets redeemed and go to Heaven. That would be beautiful ❤️

I was just thinking of this idea yesterday after watching the episode. If season 2 of Hazbin Hotel does have episodes where new guests arrive, Colin would be a great addition. I think he and Vaggie would get along as they’re both “fallen” angels who were punished for things that wasn’t their fault.

I think he’s done the first one, he’s definitely done the second one now he just has to stick it to Keenie and Cletus and then he’ll get back to heaven!
To come to think of it, Colin is most redeemable among them, even in their debut. We saw him politely ask for a workaround after being exiled and seems the most reserved. Hopefully we'll see him stand up for himself someday.
Technically he may, all he's missing is "Stick it to the Man" 😂
Him lacking a backbone is what makes him an accomplice in their deeds.
That is something he's going to have to do if he wants to go back home.
I was so sad that we didnt seen Colin and Moxxi pointing at each other with guns and noticing that they are out of ammo. Both would say sorry, reaload and start fighting again or something like that. I am realy sad that they had no interaction with each other
To be fair, Moxxie is slowly kinda losing that part, he seemed fully inclined to want the cherubs dead and wasn’t holding back
It'd be even more exciting if millie watched that from the sidelines and put two and two together that Collin is the nicest Cherub. She may be a bada$s, but her relationship with Sally Mae proves just how understanding she can be when she's got the information in front of her

Either he gets back into heaven, or he’s going to snap. When the ethically strongest snap look out, because he might be meek but when someone says “screw it I don’t care anymore” they become absolute monsters and the first person/people they go after are the ones who treated them the worst

I feel like when keenie and cletus are about to kill blitz, collins stands in the way and protect blitz. When collins starts arguing with the two cherubs, cletus and keenie realize that they are slowly becoming demons and as cletus was about to attack collins, the heaven portal opens. When keenie tries to get in with cletus, the portal kicks them out and collins walks in. As he does, he turns around and says "you didnt deserve it". Cletus and keenie cry after the portal closes and so they fly away.

Collin is still so pure and timid, while the other two, while understandably, have done multiple sins and doing things like when they were introduced into the episode and saying what they did was "helping" a random guy do a good deed, I think they are in denial or refuse to admit that what they are doing is considered sinful. Going off of that, I could see that if Collin does get the chance to go to heaven, he will either want the other two to be able to go with him, or they will use him to get themselves back in.
i hope he does, but i both believe he might and that he physically cannot. i think that once u get cast out of heaven, there’s no way back, just like how lucifer probably can’t redeem himself as he’s a fallen angel, and same with vaggie (that’s just a theory btw)!!! but colin did what cleetus and keenie told him to do, he literally shot someone, so even if he felt bad about it, chances are he’s staying out of heaven. i do hope he gets back up though :3
Since you mentioned Collins shooting at Loona. In that moment she changed into her human disguise.
Correction: Vaggie never was *officially* banished. She was left for dead and betrayed by her own kind. Lucifer was the only one who got banished officially.

I think Collins redeeming himself and going back to Heaven would be a great story. Another theory is that Cletus and Keenie will slowly be turning into demons in the future.
Collins did hurt Loona during the fight, but didn't kill her. She turned into her human disguise. I think she was using it to make Collins stop.
I hope Collins gets redeemed like Sir Pentious did.

@@zerokura Heaven probably doesn’t care that hellborns were killed by one of their own as they see them as vile beasts that corrupt humans and rob them of a good path/afterlife. Heaven/hell borns were created from the evil/good while human souls are blank slates that can become good or bad
There's more hints of this even in the episode they first appeared. He wouldn't cus no mater what. In this episode he was super skeptical about his friends actions. Even they new they had to lie to him about their trickstery for robbing money. He hasn't strayed away from the light while his friends gave up.
If any of them deserves to get back into Heaven, it's Collin.

Collin is so sweet and concerned about everything, he deserves to go back to paradise.
My idea of a helluva/hazbin crossover (that will likely never be written) is that eventually they get stuck in hell, but because they've been out of Heaven and Hell they have no idea of what's going on in both shows, dew to circumstances that bring the two crews together and additional events, they kidnap one of the I.M.P. crew only for the rest to come after them, it here Colin learn that redemption is possible and that if he turns back now, it might not be too late, the orher get killed to their own hubris and Collin is left to join the crew as a new resident at the hotel.
Colin is like that to mirror Moxie's personality cause the other two are mirroring the personalities of blitz and Millie

I have to have my fingers crossed that Collin be the redeeming character and let the others take in their demonic features for being the absolute worst ones or maybe they might have to be a true set of fallen angels that are cherubs. It never been done before and might be interesting to see their progression of being fallen.

Honestly I prefer Ayy LMAO over Cartoon Universe when covering Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss content considering lately the channel (Cartoon Universe) has just went through a complete shift and it seems Deep Cut has been the primary one doing most of the content now that the story-driven Disney Series (e.g. Gravity Falls, Amphibia, The Owl House, etc..) have ended and all is left is the Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss, Digital Circus and Murder Drones to cover.
Somehow when saying it's foreshadowing with the light somehow reminds me of the DT line from SPOP; "Ooh, foreshadowing"

I don’t know about going to Heaven, but I definitely think he’s getting a Redemption Arc, maybe he’ll bond with one of the main cast, most likely Moxxie, realise not all demons are evil and become an ally to I.M.P., alternatively he could simply leave the Cherubs because of all the mistreatment he receives. But if he did get back into Heaven I need to see him make a cameo in Hazbin Hotel.

Moxxie and Millie went with her, they could have pointed out to Loona they're Cherubs. Or, she saw their ad. Hell seems to get stuff from Heaven. The first episode we see of the Cherubs shows their ad, with Bliztø shooting it.
There was a commercial about them that IMP was watching in the episode they were introduced, she probably saw them from it
Collin had a lot of seemingly regret in this episode, so I think it he were to at least turn on the Cherubs that would make sense.

For the second one, I could just see Kratos levels of carnage cause it's the most beautifully poetic version
Collin might get back into heaven. However, if we go back to when they were first introduced the deer cherub said that because the three helped cause the death of a human that they were not able to get back into heaven, including Collin. But still it is a great theory

Imagine if Collin goes back to Heaven and God pulls off something hilarious like they did with Sir Pent. Like, imagine if Collin became on Ophanum (because there was one in the background of Episode 3 in season one) just for shits and giggles. For context, literally becoming an angel powerful enough to give God advice and give the go ahead to send archangels after evil beings as seen in the Book of Revelation where the Ophanum were helping God organise the day of Judgement and eventually give the go ahead to kill Satan (or Lucifer, the only identification is "The devil" and that it's draconic which fits Satan more than Lucifer).
I could definitely see Viv's version of God in HH and HB doing something that would disrupt the power dynamic in Heaven just for some fun. If Collin does get redeemed, he'll probably end up working with Emily, St Peter and Sir Pent by identifying which sinners are good enough to be rehabilitated. Although it would be hilarious to see the sheepish Cherub suddenly come back as an angel capable of winning a fight against anybody apart from Lucifer, the archangels, other Ophanum, and God.
He is the only cherub of trio that will go into Heaven he even question their helping humans plan when their stol 20 bucks

I personally felt like Collin was the only redeemable one of the three. When they got kicked out of heaven, the other two were trying to place all the blame on I.M.P., whereas Collin said “is there anything we can do?”. Meaning that he took responsibility/accountability for his contribution of the human’s death and wanted to rectify it.
i mean it's clear that Colin is reluctant to go along with theses friends plans and unwilling to attack Blitz and the I.M.P. gang so it's very likely Colin will return to heaven.
I also noticed that the the sheep girl and the other cherub lost the twinkle in their eyes after being cast out but Colin still has his
Something neat is that Hazbin hotel came out first so that by the time this episode came out we know that redemption is 100% possible

@@tobsonasanya4765 yeah, she came from heaven and not hell so it should be more likely. Plus. They were cast out by some deer kid. Luci and Vaggie got cast out by higher tier angels. Collin’s sins were little and he didn’t directly kill somebody, and penny probably killed a couple people.

I've also wondered about this! He still has the intentions and morals of a cherub, while I would expect the other two to ultimately end up in Hell. Maybe one day they can seek redemption out at the Hazbin Hotel, but they definitely belong in hell
The two other cherubs will either turn into demons or die while Collin returns into heaven
I hope they are all fallen-fallen, but Collin learns to like Hell and be happy there after telling the others to go away.

Maybe I'll disagree on this because it would be ridiculous
In the Full Moon episode, specifically at the armor scene, you will find that it resembles an IMP. Cherub and Imp have a noticeable similarity. Cletus and Blitz are both passionate leaders and also push the team hard, but Cletus is calm and more disciplined than Blitz. Millie and Kenny both consider strongest women but Kenny has more personality than Millie. Now we move on to Moxxie and Collin , where They are considered the voice of reason and also reject violence and extremist methods, but they are pushed by force, but the difference between Moxxie and Colin is that Moxxie is forced to do this unwillingly , while Colin is forced to do this out of fear. However, in the sixth episode of the first season, we find that Moxy accepts Blitz's illogical methods and even begins to enjoy them, unlike Colin, who has not yet accepted the methods of Cletus and Keenie yet.
Here I have two theories, which are that either Colin will accept the situation he is in and adapt to it, or he will break up with Cletus and Keenie.
In my opinion two things will happen to Collin. Either he'll become redeemed, or some event will make him break his morales, and he'll somehow become one of the most mentally insane and sadistic characters on the show

I’ve been rooting for him since the Cherubs debut episode. He seemed to always get saddled with the grunt work in the commercial and (I think) has never really insulted the Imps? Or as much as Cleetus and Keenie have? He’s always worried about the humans, even having more of a moral high ground when they have to steal to survive.

I think it's a nice little visual detail, maybe he is going back into heaven or not is still debatable, i don't think it's viv being subliminal and leaving a hint like that, I think the cherubs sticking together is better, since they're the opposite versions of blitz, mox and Milly and just having cleetus and keenie would kinda be pointless if it's just the two of them. Maybe Colin goes back to heaven in an episode and Cleetus and keenie getting killed off would be a rightful send off
I have a feeling the Cherubs’ll die, the other two will go to hell, Collin goes to heaven.
I think maybe in a fight vs. the imps, Collin will have to choose between offing the cherubs or the imps, and he may choose the cherubs as they turned evil or sum, idk I want him to side with our imps.
The imps are worse though

The thing is, all this standing out can also be a death flag. A death to the lamb or to his goodness.
After all, he did go along shooting down Luna; making him no better than the others just because he lacked the spine to stand up for his concerns.
For now, he balances out the trio. Making then all funny instead of just sad and pitiful.
Collin is like the heaven version of Moxxie. I do hope he goes back, but at the same time, he should find a group of friends that won't treat him like garbage no matter where he is.
He is literally the black sheep, it foreshadows him being different and chances are your correct he will go back to heaven
At the very least, I could see Collin splitting from the other two. Cletus and Keenie are _awful_ to him, and going solo for a while would give Collin a chance to reflect on his feelings and decide what's really important to him -- and hell, he might even get the chance to learn that the Imps are good people, and that they're more alike than not at the end of the day.

Maybe it's for the winners. You know, the opposite of sinners, saved souls. Think about it. If the winners knew the existence of exterminations, they'll start to question about it because the exorcists were killing one of their family members. The exterminations were created to prevent the demonic uprising, and to prevent the overlords from becoming way too powerful. And as for the cherubs, maybe someone like Adam or Sera presumably told Keeni and Cleetus about the exterminations but Collin doesn't because he wasn't with the others, I guess. But that's just my theory

Collin is just getting dragged around by these two because he has nowhere else to go (don't have any more friends to stay with if he leaves the Cherubs.)

Collin seems like a sweet little guy, I definitely think he has potential to make it back into heaven, unlike his 2 socio and psychopathic friends

I believe in that theory no doubt. I’m just curious to see how he’ll redeem himself. I know that at some point he’ll have to stand up to his ‘friends’. I’m just worried they could hurt him badly since Cletus and Keenie are clearly capable of committing nefarious deeds. I really hope for the best for Collin. He’s a genuinely good guy that is just caught in an unfortunate situation.
Imagine a crossover, where Collin gets stuck in hell, meets Charlie and gets to return to heaven with a sinner he helped her redeem.

Now I'm beginning to wonder if Heaven was looking to get rid of Cletus and Keanie from the beginning due to their messed-up tendencies, and the events of episode 4 just gave them the excuse to do so, with Colin being collateral?

Colin is like the kid who was childhood friends with the bullies before they were bullies. He knows what they're doing is wrong, but he feels like he has no choice except to tag along because they were his only friends. He's also scared to find out what they might do to him if he stops being their friend because, with people like that, you're either a friend or a victim/enemy. There is no in-between.
