I am an avid fan of your show, good job! I 'm on the market for pick up, i'm a fan of toyota but the Raptor got my attention, at 2l twin turbo engine with 210hp and 500NM torque? The conquest 2.4l engine with 137hp and 400NM T, come on Toyota Join the technology race!! I would love to see the Raptor on it's natural environment (off Road) on your next Review

For people who knows Dumaguete - Bacolod route. On full tank, we drove from Dgte to Bcd via Mabinay. We spent 4 days there, driving around the city though short distance only but with heavy traffic kasi Christmas. Then we also went to Campuestohan and The Ruin. On the 4th day we're leaving Bcd, the only time I refueled, I only spent p1,200 worth of diesel fuel @36pesos per liter to have it full tank again. Driving Hilux Conquest 2019 AT by the way for clarification. Blue 😄

Good review. Thank you. I have been a fan of the Hilux for over 20 years now. I own the REVO and love it. It performs very well in harsh Himalayan conditions in Bhutan. I use it off-road and in town. My next car is most likely the next-gen Hilux. Cheers.

For a TOPTL 4x4 manual model, one would expect leather & powered seats, rear view camera, 6-airbags, traction control, stability control, hill start assist, brake assist.. It is missing!
Those features above are present only on the 4x4 AT model. They simply omit a lot of features on all models except the latter since they knew pinoys will buy it despite the weakness.. Imagine the best selling car in RP at 1.6M, the fortuner, initially came with rear drum brakes and manual AC.. kahit cguro the 103hp 1st gen fortuner engine pa ang makina ng latest fortuner ngayon, bibili pa rin tayo.. Toyota is banking on our blind loyalty and reliability myth..
Negros Home Builders only Toyota PH... In some countries the toyota "G" variant has almost every features. Kaya natawa ako ng makita ko ang mga offerings ng Toyota PH.. ni back parking sensors dealer option pa.. dealership in PH are suckers.

Hi Sir Patrick! Great review! But im just gonna add. Madami kasi nagsasabi na its still the same hilux. Nilagyan lang ng body kit, face lift, same tires as the fortuner, etc etc. I want to know if its still a good buy considering it a few hundred thousands more?
I would say yes, especially if you’re looking into the manual variant.
It has push start system, limited all black interior, body kits, and that “conquest” look which we all love. You don’t have to worry about investing more for the conquest hilux, as resale value of these models wouldn’t drop as soon :)
But then again, the lower variants isn’t a bad choice. But if you have the means, go for the flagship.

Toyota is very stupid , for not having reverse camera
I wish the 4x2 variant has stability and traction control for this price point....
The problem is other country update their safety feature requirement yearly. Canada and US updated theirs this year mandating cars to have rear view camera as standard.

I really like the hilux but we end up getting the navara because its more comfy and powerful
But the navara's aesthetic is ugly and inferior.
