It’s a new week. A new start. So let’s go with what you deeply want out of your life, and let’s let go of the things you don’t want burdening you anymore. Have a Beautiful and Blessed day and week. See you next video. Stay safe and healthy. God Bless.
I dread major seasonal declutters like this like the plague ... but actually tackled it yesterday and dropping off those 3 huge bags of donations felt amazing!! Thanks for the motivation while cleaning today!
Our daughter who is turning 4 today just started showing interest for her own bed the last few days. We co-sleep with her but she has had her own toddler bed for a year or so.🎉 Littlebrother is due around new year's eve, so it will be totally fine if she falls in love with her own bed before his arrival❤😂
My oldest moved to a bed at 2.5! Max was 2.5 when he dove out of the crib but it was 3 weeks before the twins were due 😬😬😬 so we dropped the mattress to the ground. We had plans of building his big boy bed but then my husband got hurt and I can’t lift the pieces upstairs alone 😅 he’s 3 now and we are hoping to finally getting it up this week! I think the longer in the crib the better so they get the concept of a big bed!
I want to change him to a big boy bed, but I know it will make life so much tougher, especially since he has been waking up around 4am every night lately. My other 3 were changed to a toddler bed around 18 months, but I'm waiting longer with Jackson. Oh yes, I'm sure that was a big transition right after having twins! 👶🏼 👶🏼
21/2 to 3 years feels right. As long as he doesn't climb out keep him in it as long as you can. Always fun to switch furniture pieces around. Feels like a new space and the decluttering and organising is so satisfying. Jackson looking so handsome witth his big boy haircut.
I know their room will look better with matching beds, but he doesn't climb out of the crib yet and be has been waking up around 4am every night, so I'm glad he is still in the crib for now. Lol.
Hey Marie, Happy Monday/my birthday. That’s a good idea to only leave out a few toys for your kids to enjoy and play with instead all of them at once. ❤ I love the clear totes in your kids room, I feel like it’s easy for them to see what toys they have and it will keep extra storage in their rooms as well. ❤ I like where you keep your kids sheets and blankets at the bottom of the closet in totes. ❤ you’re a very organized person and I know you might not always have the time to keep it organized but it’s the fact that you take the time out to reorganize everything every so often. ❤
Good morning my beautiful friend you did a great job at organizing the boys bedroom looks so nice my daughter does toy rotation too and it’s cooler here in Kentucky thank goodness I just hope it stays this way for along time 🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂
You do a great job organizing and arranging things in your kids' rooms in the spaces you have. That's talent. I didn't put my son into a big boy bed until he was 2 and kept climbing out. Once they start walking its hard to corral them. Lol.
Aw thank you Deborah! 😊 Yes, it is harder to control them once they are in a big kid bed, so I'm trying to not make the change too soon. I know he isn't ready just yet.
I kept my turkeys in their cribs till we started potty training. Shortly after getting it down but before night training we switched to big kid bed, about 2 and a half too. Maybe a little sooner.
You did such a great job organizing & decluttering. I’m tired just watching YOU be productive. 😅 To answer your question, my daughter was probably 2.5 when we transitioned her to the toddler bed. She’s almost outgrown it now that she’s 4, which makes me so sad. 😢
I really need to try the toy rotation idea. My kids don't play with their toys much anymore so I got rid of many of them. The issue is that now they complain about being bored outside of watching TV, and I am trying to be more mindful about their screen time so they only get a certain amount of time to be on iPads, phones, or TVs now. So hopefully if we just switch out their toys every now and then, it will help them to want to play with them a little more.
Here watching while I edit! I want to do toy rotation when we get moved. I love the whole idea! My kids were about 2ish when I moved them to a toddler bed. It really depended on the kid tho, and when I thought they were ready. Kane was a climber and liked to climb out of his crib so I think I moved him a little earlier. I was always afraid he was going to fall and hurt himself. Really enjoyed this video!
Arabella started climbing out at 18 months, so I switched her to a regular bed a lot sooner. Jackson will be 2 on November 10th and he never tries to climb out. I know he would keep getting up and into the toys and if I switch him right now, lol.
Thank you so much for the motivation on decluttering i need too soo badly i feel like i have to much of alot. And with fall time here and and Halloween coming plus just anything else i have i need to majorly declutter alot for my self thank you so much for alot and Jackson is getting is big so much much love to y'all's
I switch my kids to a toddler bed when the crib is no longer safe but I definitely don't rush it. I also cut my husband's hair with he clippers first then do my almost 2 years old and he doesn't mind it at all.
Great job!! I know that struggle with trying to declutter with a toddler in tow 🤪😅, but you did great! I switch my kiddos when they start climbing out of the crib which pretty consistently has been a little after turning two with my boys. And my daughter I switched a little sooner only bc I needed the crib for her baby brother. We just switched my youngest to his big boy bed this month and he turned two in April.
I kept my boys in the crib until they started climbing out. 2 1/2- 3. I didn't rush them because I knew they would stay in their bed. Once they got in a big boy bed that was it. They would come to my room in the middle of the night. Most nights I didn't know it until I woke up and find them sleeping on the floor beside me.😂
Aw yes, I remember my other 3 would get up at night after I changed them to big kid beds. I changed theirs around 18 months, but I'm waiting longer with Jackson. He has never tried to climb out.
With the exception of my special needs child who stayed in a crib till 3, I've moved my babies out of the crib at 18 months or sooner. If Jackson is sleeping well through the night, he should do fine staying in bed sleeping and not playing. But you know your baby better than anyone 😊
Thats what I'm the most worried about is him getting up because he has been waking up around 4am every night wide awake. I think he may be going through a sleep regression. 😴
Janet Andrews hello from Virginia: Marie loved it all you inspired me to get up and start decluttering my closet. I also have a small space and it was time well done girl!
When my daughter learned how to walk and balance her stuff more she started crawling out of her crib on her own so that's when her crib turned into a toddler bed.
We changed Claire to a toddler bed when she was about 2. I put her to bed one night and after about 10 minutes here she came strolling down the stairs ,so at that point, I was like time for a toddler bed!
My daughter was moved to a big girl bed at 2. For my son, we waited till 3… he just needed to be contained lol! Boys seems to get into more stuff than girls.
I gave them big kids bed when they were trying to climb out of the crib. Like hanging on the rail and it would scare me that's when the crib had to go.
That's the safest way to go if they are already clubbing out anyways. He hasn't tried climbing out yet. I changed my other 3 to big kid beds around 18 months.
Great job on the decluttering! I love that lovevery toy box! We usually don’t move our kids to toddler beds until they can climb out of the crib, usually around age 2 & 1/2 or 3. My son is nearing that age and I’m not ready for the crib to be gone! 😢
I think Jackson could if he tried, but he has never tried climbing out. I'm waiting a bit longer to change him to a big boy bed than I did with my other 3. They were around 18 months.
My baby is 1 month older than Jackson & he's been in a toddler bed for lik 6 months already. Only bcuz he was sticking his legs in between tha bars on tha crib and his legs were getting stuck. But He does so good in tha toddler bed. & he shares a room with my 10 year old boy and they have a playroom connected 2 their bedroom & honestly my baby rarely gets up 2 try n go in there if he wakes up he usually comes looking for me or juss cries untill I come get him. Lol. I kno every kid is different. So Jackson might go straight for toys. I can't wait to see him in his big boy bed tho. 💙
I'm aiming for around age 2.5 to change him to a big boy bed. I changed my other 3 kids around 18 months, but for different reasons. Jackson has never tried climbing out so in waiting a bit longer. ♡
My youngest is only 17 months and has already learned how to climb out of his crib we tried to turn it into a toddler bed but he wouldn’t stay in it of course
Arabella was 18 months when she started climbing out, so I switched her to a big girl bed and had to keep a baby gate in the doorway so she wouldn't escape in the middle of the night lol.
My first I switched at 3, because I had a csection. My second after she turned 4. She loved her crib. My third has been co-sleeping since he was a year and a half due to medical trauma. Don’t move him if he’s not climbing out. There’s no benefit lol
You might have luck with Jackson’s haircuts at a men’s barber shop. That’s what we did with my son and my parents did with my brother. In my opinion, barbers cut boys and men’s hair much better than a women’s salon. 💈 ❤
I've never thought to go to a men's shop. I use a lady that has 3 sons. She has a lot of experience with boys haircuts and always does a fantastic job on Eric's and Nolan's hair. I just cut Jackson's myself spur of the moment. I would love to get good at boys haircuts so we could save some money with home hair cuts.
Usually the doctor or other people who had kids before have told me that don't put them in a toddler bed until the child the top part of the crib is in the middle of their chest or if they can climb out of their crib but my 3-year-old I didn't put him into a toddler bed until he crawled out of his crib which was at 3-3 1/2 years old. My twins who are 2 years I'm not going to put them in a toddler bed until they can come out of their crib or the bar of their crib is at chest level. To me they're not ready yet to have a toddler bed but once they are then my almost 4 years old and my almost 3-year old who are boys are going to be sharing a room together and my daughter and my only daughter is going to have her own room.
I don't really have an age when I switch my babies to a toddler bed it all depends when I have the money to buy the bed or their grandma buys them a bed
It’s a new week. A new start. So let’s go with what you deeply want out of your life, and let’s let go of the things you don’t want burdening you anymore. Have a Beautiful and Blessed day and week. See you next video. Stay safe and healthy. God Bless.
Happy Monday! 🌞
Good job! You really keep things organized and the children have a lot; but you have a place for everything!👍🏿
I dread major seasonal declutters like this like the plague ... but actually tackled it yesterday and dropping off those 3 huge bags of donations felt amazing!! Thanks for the motivation while cleaning today!
That's great you got it done!! When I start feeling overwhelmed with "junk" I make a day to organize everything.
Our daughter who is turning 4 today just started showing interest for her own bed the last few days. Happy belated birthday!!! I hope you have a wonderful week! 🎂 It's not easy keeling it all organized, but so worth it. ♡
I kept my baby in the crib until about 2-3 years old. He felt like such a big boy when he got a twin bed! You have such a great way of decluttering!
I use to be so overwhelmed with all the toys before I started putting them up. This works soooo much better.
Love the toy rotation idea!
Nice Mary
You did a great job organizing and arranging all the toys lots of inspiration ❤️🍂🍁
Man! Lots of stuff decluttered! Great job! I’m still working on my basement declutter ❤️😀👍thanks for the motivation!
❤❤❤❤
Good morning my beautiful friend you did a great job at organizing the boys bedroom looks so nice my daughter does toy rotation too and it’s cooler here in Kentucky thank goodness I just hope it stays this way for along time 🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂

So many are saying Jackson is starting to look a lot like Nolan. I love that! 💙
@@MarieLoveAsbury love it !!

Very nice ❤
Marie your a great organizer.
I think going through toys is good idea.
I need to do this desperately 😅 our playroom is trashed constantly
Always love your content
This video was so motivating. I have been decluttering so much lately and this made me want to continue. ❤
It the best feeling after a good declutter. My house feels bigger and cleaner. ♡

Hey hey Marie❤ So ready for this video!!🤗 we switched our son at 2❤️

It's always hard when our babies outgrow something because it only means they are getting older and bigger. 😢
Happy Monday Marie and family! Great ideas and tips. HEY handsome Jackson man man. STTB
Good morning! I hope you have a great week. 🌞
Hey❤

It helps putting toys away for a while because once you get them out again, it's like new toys to them again. 😀
Great job Mama!!! I need to de-clutter my closets so bad!!! Have an awesome week!!!!

Great job Marie. I need to get mine done, we are suffocating in junk!
I gets that way some times definitely! When I start feeling like that, I try to make a day to organize it all.

Yes when they start climbing out is the red flag to switch them so they don't fall and get hurt. Jackson has never tried crawling out.
my 1st son was 1 in a toddler bed , my 2nd son was almost 3, my daughter was 3.
I think I want to wait a bit longer to change Jackson to a big boy bed because he has never tried climbing out.
@@MarieLoveAsbury That's exactly what i based it on. My oldest son was a little escape artist:)

Such a great idea to keep the space organized. I wish I had done this more when my kids were smaller. Maybe I can do this with the grandbabies. 😀
I helps keep the house less messy for sure!
Great job on the decluttering! I love that lovevery toy box!

I taught my little brother how to climb out of his crib. Needless to say, my mom was not impressed with my teaching skills 😂
Oh yes, once they start climbing, its time to change! And that is too funny Kayla!! 🤣
