I know this is an old video, but the book you talked about is on youtube in audiobook version. I really recommend it cause you actually used a few of her methods without even knowing lol. Also, have you thought about putting some of your sentimental jewellery in a memory box with other sentimental items? That's what I do anyways and it's nice to open up that box from time to time and reminisce.
I iwas about to do the same thing. I just bought one of those hanging jewelry organizers. it's been driving me nuts because all my jewelry is in these little plastic drawer things and I forget about some of the stuff I have because it's in my closet.

If you are doing a declutter DO NOT put it away for a craft or give it to your daughter. Big mistake. It really means you are not parting with it. Not a true declutter. Letting go means letting go. How are you really clearing your mind of it if it is still in your possession? Ask you're self that before you begin. It makes a BIG difference.
Sandi Ramirez I hear what you are saying but I think everyone can do things differently and there doesn’t need to be hard and fast rules. That’s the kind of thing that causes some people, like me, huge anxiety and will actually prevent me from even attempting to declutter.
