becoming Nathan Drake in VR!

Inspired by the Mission Impossible movies, I tried my hand at a stunt focused action sequence... in BoneLab! I always wanted to direct an action movie, and now with the help of VR I kinda can haha, what a time to be alive :D
This was made singeplayer, modded on PCVR. Music form Mission Impossible movies was used.

Agreed, but the physics gets kinda wierd in fusion. It was already quite glitchy with the jeep handing from a helicopter, fusion made it worse.

@@interestingameplay indeed the helicopter is the something i would certainly agree with, however if you have 2-4 people you shouldnt have much problems, and if you do have a problem in one of the scenes just reshoot it and it should be fine

Thanks! I'm using a quest 2 connected to my pc. Recording using Nvidia's built in recorder. You can go into bonelab's settings and select "fisheye" spectator mode to record in a wider fov.

Very cool video, i downloaded all the mods and wanted to recreate the scene where youre dangling from the jeep attached to the rope but when i try to use the constrainer the helicopter ends up flipping tf out, which constrainer thing did you use to attach the ropes to the heli and jeep?

I ran into similar issues, use the "weld" mode on the constrainer. The one which makes a rigid connection and doesn't allow objects to dangle freely.
That should reduce the load on game's physics engine and avoid bugs. It's still not perfect, you may have to fiddle with the exact connection points.

I tried recreating this and I don’t know if it’s just a bug but every time I try hanging the Jeep from the Helicopter it glitched and the rope and helicopter go flying

It happened for me too, it's a very specific spot on where to attach the rope (it's trial and error till you find the spot).
You can try attaching it at or near the spod I did in the video.

I use the weld mode instead of teather mode in the constrainer gun. It's still sometimes buggy but much less than teather.

Damn that was awesome. This really captured the essence of an MI movie, with some VFX and better character animations (lets face it the bonelab animations look goofy) and you pretty much have a scene from the movies. @@interestingameplay Would definitely take a bit more careful planning and trial and error because of that. But something with fusion at least for the gunfights might help. The shootout in the helicopter looked a bit janky, but I'm guessing that's because a ford cant sit in the pilot seat and that would have probably made it look worse. All in all, great video, I wanna see more like this and make some myself.
