There are like 600 dollar watches that are good for your heart. This watch is mostly to track down your heart rate, calorie rate and time in a nut shell basically.
It was what is called a pleural perforation. 6 wks later another emergency surgery happened. A complication from the 1zt surgery resulted in a hernia the size of a cantaloupe forming. 6 months later red flags in my head tell me I'll be on the er again soon.
Swimming in my pool has destroyed a Versa 2 and a Versa 3. Received a Versa 4 as a replacement from the factory but I am afraid to wear it in the pool. I don't think I trust the water resistance in these products based on my past experiences. Just a little heads up for those who wear their Fitbits while swimming.
Ive had a fitbit inspire for around 3 years i think? Maybe more im not 100% sure but ive been using it for swimming showering everything for the entire time ive had it and its never had a problem but maybe the newer ones just suck
I also used Fitbit Inspire 3 and used it for swimming. It was ok, no problem at all. Now I've lost my Fitbit, gotta buy a new one then. Perhaps another Fitbit Inspire 3.

A little confused about the battery life comparison to the galaxy watch 4. Just saying because I’ve owned a galaxy watch 4 and can say it’s definitely a 1 day kind of watch, where Fitbit gets a least 3-4 days before having to charge it.

However, my Watch 5 didn't even hold up for 8 hours. I disabled most features on the Watch 5-no Always-On Display (AOD), no call or text notifications, no Wi-Fi, etc.-only leaving continuous heart rate monitoring on while activating power-saving mode.
50 dollar apex from canagian tire last 3 weeks with brightness on min does have connectibity issuies fitbits if u get 3 years out of it condider your self lucky and they dont stay water proof forever
The processor isn’t super powerful which helps improve battery life and helps them hit the price point (or make more profit). You can move up into an Apple Watch for about 3x the money of course. You’ll get smooth gui,Apple ecosystem and other things..but the watch will need daily charging. Since I use my wearable for sleep tracking finding a convenient charge window daily for Apple Watch seemed like a hassle. Also I have an iPhone for apple things on the go. I don’t usually find the Fitbit gui to be distracting. Versa 4 watches are on sale at Costco right now for 129. Fitbit Charge 5 for 89. The charge 5 covers a lot of the same territory that Versa 4 does imho

Can you control your phone's music (Volume/Play/Pause/Skip) with the Versa 4? So if you're running and your phone is secured away, you don't have to dig it out disrupting your run just to skip, repeat, or crank up a song.

Big difference I notice in researching is how you can answer calls with it, plus you can track your runs without your phone around because it has a gps built in. I ordered this today because my sense2 died after 6 months. The battery would no longer charge, it would just overheat and stop charging, thankfully Amazon refunded my money and I ordered the Versa 4 based on the promise of a 6 day battery life! I sure hope it lives up to it's promise. I'm older but active, being older I sometimes forget to charge the darn thing!

Battery life is horrendous - like 36 - 48 hrs max depending on features used. GW4 died last night (26 months in, now out of warranty $435 CAD) So if this lasts 6 days, it's probably triple the GW4
if the gps is not used for a long time the stregnth of its connection and accuracy is extremely poor for sometime but gets back up to normal after a few weeks of continuous usage.
I just got the versa 4, but I can't download any clockfaces, spo2, etc. Support states that there's a software update, but how long can it be before updates are finished?

I've never been in sync with regular people. I want to know things like is the heart rate function accurate, same with SaO2. Does it have alarms for HR & SaO2. Things like that. I don't care if it can answer my calls, blah, blah, blah. I want it first and foremost to accurately give me data about my workouts. I don't see accuracy reviewed in anyone's video.

My third Fitbit product. So far the best one we’ll see, I’ve had it for two months now. My other ones randomly stopped working Charge 2 and 5 I liked the charge 5, I only got one year out of it, if that. I gave Fitbit another chance again we’ll see how long this one lasts. I refuse to buy the manufacturers warranty it’s a ripoff for sure like most warranties.

Fitbit sense 1 and Versa 3 are better than these new gen watches. These new ones have slow and clunky UI and do not give as much details on the watch themselves as the last gen did. Google has ruined these watches!

my parents gifted me this for chrsitmas but i dont see a reason to switch off the samsung fit 3, the only real upsides would be paying by watch and maybe better gps tracking but idc about those features and my fit 3 has way better battery life...
I travel by Metro in Bangalore and everyday the watch automatically captures over 3000 steps of walking 😂 this is something ridiculous in the age of tech. Samsung does a great job of not capturing your steps if you’re on a vehicle or driving.
Learn to partly tape yr mouth while you sleep with a surgical tape and you will after a few weeks cure your sleep apnea..search info about nitric oxide and you will understand why taping your mouth will solve h your problem..

Fitbit is the WORST watch to have. If you crack the screen by accident, the only option you have is to buy a new one. No customer support and service centers anywhere in the world. Absolute waste of money. Read the warranty policy before buying.

I'd read up on how water resistance ratings work. It's a commonly misunderstood metric; for instance it involves time spent in water not just depth.

Yes I have the Galaxy 4 snd it's 40 hours, max. 6 days is streets ahead of that.

Why does the UI move so slow and chunky? I want one but I don't think I would manage with clunky menu movements
