@@antonella4632 I think it has to do with the first movie where they already introduced the plot of the employer/fan turning out to be the villain so many people already had that mindset. However the actual plot wasn't as obvious. :P
eh it was pretty obvious to a lot of people... i don't wanna make it sound like i'm bragging or anything lol but i got the plot pinned down halfway through it while i was watching it in the theatre. that said, even tho the ~twist~ didn't surprise me it was still a pretty good movie
@Daniel Chávez Same as aless. The big twist wasn't much of a surprise for me either. I'm fairly certain many people have complained about this being a weakness in the film. That and the questionable themes and character-building.
Booper Dooper Yup. The theme of family was completely thrown out the window, and no, Bob staying at home doesn't count because these parts don't connect with the rest of the movie, AT ALL. We also don't see Helen talking with the kids and checking on them, in fact, the ONLY family member she talks to is Bob and the ONLY times she interacts with the kids is at the very beginning and very end of the movie, that's it. Bob's character was SEVERELY undermined, what character development he had in the first movie was also thrown out the window. Instead of supporting his wife he becomes jealous even though the entire point of the first movie was to TRUST your FAMILY, and for some reason in the sequel he became very weak (just look at the scene where he has to go to the boiler room or whatever. He could've just punched his way into the room but instead 'wE hAvE tO fInD aNoThEr WaY') Violet and Dash are also undermined. To be fair, Violet had decent development in the first movie but Dash seriously needed his own arc, and he didn't get one. Jack-Jack was useless, he has cool superpowers and all but what purpose did he serve aside from getting into the fight with the raccoon? NOTHING. The villain also makes no sense, it was the father's entire fault he and the mother got killed yet she blames the superheroes who couldn't arrive on time? Understandable if she just bitter, but actively trying to destroy them makes no sense. Also her plan makes no sense because he goal is to make everyone hate superheroes, EVEN THOUGH she put Elasticgirl in situations that Elastigirl could easily solve which INCREASES the people's love and admiration for superheroes sooo that's counter-productive. There's also the issue that there were no clues at all that Evelyn is the bad guy, and no, her name doesn't count because that doesn't mean shit. (Her brother could've been a fantastic villain, but alas, they ignored his potential) As if things weren't already bad enough Elastigirl has ZERO development throughout the movie. Her skills aren't tested, she effectively saves the day every time, we don't see her insecurities, her thoughts, her interactions with her family, nothing. Mr Incredible went through hardships and he came out stronger than ever, what did Elastigirl go through to have her come out stronger? Nothing. The actions scenes were phenomenal, but that's probably the only part the directors didn't fuck up; the graphics and camera work. But the plot and characters were a fucking mess.
21:13 the sad thing is the father called gazorbeam the super hero mr.incredible finds dead on the island so the only reason the old couple wasn't saved was because the supers they called were murdered

well elastigirl was imprisoned in a deep freezer. Maybe that subconsciously mand him want more warmth.
I love that Jack Jack slapped Bob to wake him up, it’s like he was saying
“Hey finish my story!”
Frozone is the real hero in both movies. Ya elastagirl is dope but who who do they call when they need to save the whole city??
Alyssa A Ghostbusters 👻
Yeah, I thought the same while watching it. Frozone the MVP
Alyssa A see you know what’s going on

13:00 Their names all link to their powers. Jack-Jack's a jack of all trades.
Not all of them. Violet, Bob, Helen.... I get Dash and Jack tho!
Saga Just the kids: Violet has ultraviolet rays + her orbs are violet; Dash has super speed; Jack Jack has multiple powers (jack of all trades)
@@celeste1737 what about Helen tho or Bob
@@shakiraTH-cam Helen can stretch long as Hel......en

Frozon: ❄️❄️❄️🌨⛄️☃️🌬
Police: show up
Frozon: ight imma head out
Dylan: how can I describe Incredibles 2
Dylan: Fantastic!!
Dylan: wait
"He looks like the logo for an anti-acid" IDK why but that KILLED me
I hate how smart he is, he literally guessed the villain even before half of the movie
“He has a lightning bolt on his suit, did his lightning powers fry his brain?”
You just described Denki Kaminari :)
Damb you! I thought I finally had an original thought!
Yes , i see people of culture
Lol so true
I was looking in the comments to see if anyone else had thought of that.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yes I've found my people
i think you would look sanitary with glasses
Nice callback 😀
Just in case anyone was wondering why Jack-Jack has so many powers because he's the Jack of all trades.

Dylan: You should have listened to me ms. Fantastic!
I said Ms instead of mrs.
Me: ...
When he said that i was thinking “technically thats the daughter”
I really thought he was going to say that he meant Mrs. Incredible, but nooooo.
He called her Mrs. Fantastic the entire video!! 🤣
I mean he's not wrong , she is fantastic.
It’s because she’s elastic 😏
At 20:30
"You should've listened to me Miss Fantastic! Oh wait I said Miss, I meant Mrs."
Says this but doesn't realise it is Mrs Incredible
I’m still blown away by Dylan’s ability to guess the plot completely like halfway through the movie, but still not realize that he was right😂😂😂
I love when I first watched this movie I didn't get the plot then I guessed it HOW DO YOU GET IT SO QUICK INTO THE MOVIE!?
JackieWarner13 i know right? He’s so good😫
Daniel Chávez no, i dont think so. Dylan has gone to school for filming so it would make sense for him to know how plots work
eh it was pretty obvious to a lot of people... i don't wanna make it sound like i'm bragging or anything lol but i got the plot pinned down halfway through it while i was watching it in the theatre. that said, even tho the ~twist~ didn't surprise me it was still a pretty good movie
@Daniel Chávez Same as aless.
He could've just punched his way into the room but instead 'wE hAvE tO fInD aNoThEr WaY')
Violet and Dash are also undermined.
(Her brother could've been a fantastic villain, but alas, they ignored his potential)
As if things weren't already bad enough Elastigirl has ZERO development throughout the movie.
But the plot and characters were a fucking mess.
the title should've been
*"The Icredibles 2" is legitimately INCREDIBLE*
I love how Dylan is giggling at every Jack Jack joke
"whats up with this dudes face?!" who's gonna tell him
Mmmmm.......not me

21:13 the sad thing is the father called gazorbeam the super hero mr.incredible finds dead on the island so the only reason the old couple wasn't saved was because the supers they called were murdered
oh wow i didn't realize that
I couldn't stop laughing when he was critiquing the lightning bolt guy, being side by side, looking similar like him 😂
They told you in the beginning who the bad guy was. Evelyn Deavor = Evil Endeavor
I always thought she was like a subtle nod to the character Evil Lynn from the He-Man universe.
6:40 That lighting is so cool. The way they did that. Ive only ever seen that on live action stuff but it still works
You have to watch How to train your dragon 1, 2 and 3!!!!
You will love them. I'm sure😊
Heck yeah!
definitely
Oml this would make my entire life😭😭 those movies are slept on

16:06 Why does the dumb guy look like Dylan 😂
that was my thought lmaoo
That was what i was thinking!
Y’all are wrong 😂😂
Yo this dude really is a professional movie watcher isn’t he
I feel like he’s the type of person who would have frosted tip on the early 2000s
Not gonna lie, sometimes it pisses me off how smart Dylan is lol. How TF did he get the plot and the villain right RIGHT OFF THE BAT? I WAS SHOOK WHEN I WATCHED IT FOR THE FIRST TIME.
Edit: WE GET IT. Y'ALL ARE SMART. ANNOYING ASSES.
Really? Because it was REALLY obvious in this movie
Antonella Gutierrez what?? i found it so obvious.
spoiler alert if you haven’t watched it yet
she seemed fishy straight away and the whole time they was trying to make it seem like it was the other guy but i can already tell it was the lady
It was kind of obvious from the start
Dude. Her name was Evelyn Deavor. play with that for a minute.....
he’s smart and hot
I know you posted this like literally two years ago, but it is my absolute favorite thing to watch when I'm depressed. It's about that only thing that can make me laugh during those times, so thank you.
I love how he kept saying the short woman and not Edna😂
