Sequential Tail Light Install Part 1 - GETTING ALL LIGHTS IN HARNESS TO WORK W/O MODULE ‘78 Caprice

First steps towards my sequential tail light install. In this video you will see some wiring modifications I had to do to get the middle tail light to flash and to get all the lights to work properly. I wanted to make sure the entire harness worked in it’s normal function before installing the sequential flash module.
With that said, you will need to buy a 3-Step Flash Module for the lights to work in sequence. You will see how I will wire it into my harness on my next video. Info below on where I purchased the module.

I found this kit on eBay but it states if your brake light uses the same bulb as your turn signal it doesn’t work. I have a 74 Buick with 3 lights will it work?

If u use the 1157 bulbs it should work.

What's up buddy, where should I get my power source from?

You have to tie the power lead from the sequential flasher module to the turn signal wire. That way when you engage the turn signal, the module gets power and knows to flash.
Side note: If you hook it up to the normal tail lights it will only get power when you turn on lights and will also try to flash during that time when you are not even engaging the turn signal. So you DON’T want that.
