Hi Julia, here is a tip for you, if you feel gassy after having chickpeas then try sprouting them. I know its a whole task to use chickpeas from scratch, soaking them then sprouting and then boiling or baking them as the recipe suggests but surely it will cure the gas problem. You can sprout any whole legume or beans on that matter. I hope this helps🥺. Love you and more power to you❤❤.

I never have problems as long as I cook them from dried and soak them for 24 hours!
