  • 6x6 #032. Going to the Louisiana beaches for a rescue truck. Our 6 x 6 system is getting more refined for speed and functionality. In my opinion this build took too long to finish. However we’ve learned some lessons and made arrangements with vendors to fix these issues. That doesn’t take away from the fact that this is a pretty incredible truck. Micah our on site CAD designer has more than 100 hours in the design of the suspension and I believe 100 more with micro revisions to make it adapt to the factory frame with absolutely no issues on 18 inches of tire travel. Our 40 spline Pro 80 offset middle axle carries up to 14,000 pounds by itself. No rubbing, no driveshaft issues under articulation. Yes you are looking at 44 inch tires with only 2 inches of lift. 6:17 ratio in all 3 axles. There’s an electric locker in the first axle the middle axle and a trac lock factory #3 axle. This Conversion was @ $62,000.

so many good reasons to do that by adding capacity for weight carrying or all the way over if you had a plow on the front

First I want to thank you for taking care of me with the O-rings you send me a couple of weeks ago. Amazing service! Next, I have a the 84 inch f550 with DBL Stage 1. Is it possible or even feasible to add another axle like a tag axle, that isn't driven. I don't do serious offroading. I need it more for the weight, because I'm carrying a 7000+ truck camper that pushes the limits on the tire capacity with the single conversion. Thank you!

Why spend all that money and time and not measure the spacing of the rear axles?

the rear axle ended up twisting and ripping the whole top link mount off the rear end of this truck. currently rebuilding all of the brackets for the rear axle links. if youd like pictures let me know
ive also designed a rear bumper for this truck and made a 60 gallon in bed fuel cell.

It's hard to tell in the video if you're using portal axles, I'm just curious and interested in the 6x6 conversion. Looks kind of like the suspension on the MTVR 7 ton truck at a glance

Awesome truck but the back tires touched each other going over the rocks
    Love the truck though.

the far side touched the fender liner. we adjusted the axle after the video was shot, just want to keep it real so I left the sound in :)
