The Kush Connoisseur ya, definitely the turning point. Scheinson was doing good with the hands, don't understand why he tried that he had a good shot at winning.
I don't like how Scheinson started round one with a COUPLE of leg sweeps (are they legal? I thought they were "grappling") then start to complain when Thongchai replied with a few "oh, so you want to play that game with a REAL Thai, eh? Tattoo boy?"
The thai fights are often the most boring in glory🙈 i love muay thai just as much as k1 style both have there good and bad things. K1 misses the beauty of the clinch and the elbows. but the rules in muay thai are very biased in the judging and its sometimes to much an exhibition.
i think glory needs to learn that 1. these rules are bs 2. full mt rules would make it way more exiting than this 3. clinching isnt boring and yeah he would have murdered him under full mt rules

GLORY. CHANGE THE RULES. People can see through it now, this isn’t fighting. Let’s blend Muay Thai and Sanshou/Sanda rules to allow more but limited clinching and takedowns! Even MT rules are ridiculous when it comes to takedowns. GLORY you guys are perfectly positioned to create real exciting kickboxing shows. Extend clinch time to 20 secs. Allow takedowns with 5 seconds of grappling/striking, all called out/signaled by the ref with someone ringside with a timer. Just some ideas!!! Make it exciting not this constant referee stopping the action! This is BS and everyone knows it. Thise rules above would make for some amazing shows imho. Cheers
Muay Thay today isn't what it was in the 90's. Technical, brutal and exciting. Today if you watch a Lumpinee or Raja stadium match what do you see? Bitch slapping and hugging. Horrible boxing techniques, very few elbow knockouts, but alot of unnecessary roundhouse kick exchange and exaggerated kneeing in clinch. Top muay thai fighters literally slapping like bithches. And pls don't tell me ''well muay thai focuses on elbows and knees''. So what? That's not an excuse to slap like a bithch. Plus any 5 year old kid can throw a knee or an elbow. Old school muay thai fighters were good boxers and they knew how to throw a knee as well.
Asushi onari , this is a fucking screwed up referee that usually biased at Thais , in kick boxing clinches are permitted within the durations of three seconds , but this chicken sounded referee imposed otherwise ,, a non clinched rule which is totally not in favour to the Thai ,WTF is he doing? Anyhow , by the grace of Thongcai's knees & boxing skills , he managed to win by split decision.

Terrence Suriyamongkol Muay Thai incorporates sweeps, pretty sure they are illegal in glory though
