What are your thoughts on Mario Kart Tour so far? (For those who have played it or just based on the information from this video)
TWD98 ive seen both positive and negative reviews of it... not sure how to feel about it yet haha
I loved Mariokart Tour. I can't wait for the full release.

I think this mod would be such a cool addition to CTGP with some polish of course. I feel like. It's more of a proof of concept in this current form
i don't think it would fit in CTGP in particular. however, i do agree with polishing the backwards tracks a bit more.

I feel like it's a more authentic experience BECAUSE of the fact that there isn't any modification to the tracks, honestly.
I just noticed, in the races where the CPUs are going the wrong way, when they use the bullet it keeps going in the wrong way instead of turning them around so I guess you can’t use bullets in this mode either
Makes sense, because the Bullet is cpu controlled
The bullet worked on wario's goldmine.

It's not possible all the cps are out of order making it impossible. If you watch Mario circuit you'll see toadette in front constantly getting bullet bills meaning she's in last though she's ahead going the right direction
It was about time backward stages are here. Its more intriguing than just mirror.
Some parts of tracks in Mirror aren’t even changed, like the beginning of DS Delfina Square.
Mirror is 100% different, it doesn't change the model or whatever, it totally inverses everything; Lakitu, items, item bkxes, models
There should be a modded game mode where there are two teams. One team goes forwards, the other team goes backwards.

Some of the tournaments had you do a time trial going backwards on a few tracks such as mushroom gorge, toad's factory, and grumble volcano.

That was the most cheeky blue shell dodge I’ve ever seen.
The color barrier is just as impactful in Mario kart as in real life.
Just thought of a good video idea every vehicle has the star power rainbow effect color. But the only item is the star power. So the meta would be to bump or not to bump.
I love how most of the tracks are built so you can see ahead where the track goes, so naturally going backwards becomes the complete opposite, making you almost blind when it comes to distanced visuals

I played these backwards tracks like 2 years ago and it was so fun, I also thought that backwards tracks should’ve also been in like the main track selections as like an extra mode, because it was so fun, and I also thought the old competitions with the custom or tracks put backwards was so fun too, been waiting for you to try this out, xD.

My big problem with Mario Kart Tour is that the emphasis is weighted heavily on scoring points, and not on winning races.

I think the off-road glitch occurs because it preserves your speed for th mushroom bounce but it isn’t a mushroom, so it’s gets confused and acts like the speed is still conserved for the mushroom, which explains it going away on the first bounce.
