As partially local to the island I can attest having visited quite a few Greek islands like Mykonos Santorini Milos Kimolos Patmos Rhodes Kea or Tzia Kythera Paxos Antipaxos Corfu Samos Mytilene it's one of the most diversfied islands I have been to. It has almost 90 beaches a huge cave as you mentioned in the video a cave lake with a small island (unique in the whole world) an underground river a moving rock ( kounopetra) medieval castles a plain with lakes in and a wetland for migratory birds and also majestic cliffs at it's west coast. But most of all is that it holds till today wild goats like the Cretan Kri Kri's ( you can meet them around Myrtos if you are lucky enough) and to its biggest mountain holds a heard of wild horses. Which deserves to visit also by hiking preferably to see and experience it's rich Natura 2000 forest of majestic black Abies Cephallonica (spruce). In the sea you can find species like Karetta Karetta turtles and other big game spearhunting fish like swordfishes Big black and dogtooth groupers sentences and tunnas at places especially north and west. Before the fires that erupted at times the last 3 - 4 decades it had so much alpine fauna that it resempled like Amazonian forest.
