Hi Josh, may I ask which SG ETF with dividends is good for investment as everything are all time high now?

Hi Es3 is STI etf. Alternative can consider Phillip sing income etf which has less weightage to banks and more To small caps

Built a heavy war chest. A cycle is approximately between 7 to 9 years.
So the opportunity can be enormous if you can time it.

Number 1 is the most important but I would like to add on something else which is investing psychology/mentality. I could have been way richer during the covid crash if I have had hold on to my etf instead of investing stocks on my own(thinking I was a professional 😢).

But there's another saying that time in the market is better than timing the market 🤔

Of course. Depending on the stage of investing and age and goals, well managed REITs continue to be a decent investment.

Did you buy $100k on Mapletree logistic trust ? How will you react now if fed interest rate go higher and skyrocketing as he doesn’t care about inflation . It doesn’t hurt him.

I understand todays narrative that interest could climb again, its part of riding bumpy roads. Stay optimistic
I own Mapletree industrial trust. Stay tuned for updates

My best advice, don’t buy REITs if you want to be rich.

Reinforces overall pessimism. May be a good time to buy?

I am still waiting for you to talk about Mapletree Logistic trusts . With trump winning , interest rate is going higher n higher.

Yep ! Lol ! REITS are shit !

But I believe that borrow is already very high , if inflation goes higher and Fed response to higher interest rate , the economy will collapse. This guy doesn’t care about inflation and only care for his low corporate tax. But can this goes on and on ? We may see a short term reversal . What do you think ?

Hi Josh, I love your content. But, one thing I find surprising is your take on REITS. On that I feel there are better options to invest. Either you have a confirmation bias or I do. It’s ok to share different opinions, we don’t have to share the same views on everything. As I said, love your content and have been your subscriber for a long time.
Question: as an index investor, do you feel REITS beat a fund like VWRA(I don’t want to take CSPX give the last 10 yr perf) over the last 10 years?

Is ok to have a few bad picks. I have a few picks that drop >50%. But I overall I am still positive. Just make sure one don’t trim the winner

I thought investment in REITS is for the purpose of receiving dividends?

    • @joshconsultancy
      @joshconsultancy  24 วันที่ผ่านมา

Both dividend and returns. Like buying a property.
For bonds yes, return on capital and just coupons only

Think this vid ties in quite nicely with your previous vid. Trump 1st election every1 was so certain market will crash, but it didnt.
