FEED THE FORMLESS
It’s madd to believe that you are “an interlude of consciousness between eternal darkness.” This is from a talk from my favorite Alan Watts as he explains “we do not “come into” this world; we come out of it, as leaves from a tree.”
We are led to believe that our physical bodies bring us into existence, that’s what makes us real, or alive but I’ve seen many that are supposedly alive existing as the living dead. Do not be tricked into believing that your physical body is what makes you “real”. In many ways it’s an illusion, a game, a hallucination. Not that you are not real but that “you” ARE beyond form. This is what you feel when you dance in the forest and feel a part of it, or when you watch the sunset & get lost in it. All thought ceases to exist in those moments & you are reminded what IS.
Understanding the oneness is fundamental to your presence as you pass through this plane. You can use this time on earth to play society’s silly games and fall into a narcissistic hallucinations, or you can use this time to evolve & connect deeper to what fucking matters.
As a human race we have gone from primitive to narcissistic; evolving in magnificent ways & at the same time becoming dumber than ever (just look at the way we treat nature, our mother). Stop for a second & ask yourself if the way you are living feels truly ALIVE? If you’re being driven by ego or nature? When form is gone you will still exist, what will be left? Best to feed the formless parts of “you” now.
