Get rid of the front fenders. Will have to bend the arm of the coaster break a bit out ofc the sprocket, but it works, been rocking one for years. And let's go. Good luck.
I second the front fender removal, however, in this case the fender doesn't have the lower metal brackets that mount to the fork. Therefore it is considered a bobbed fender and is actually safe.
I would ditch the front fender or make sure to locktite every nut and bolt. If it gets loose at 25mph your in for a bad crash. I saw the blood stain on the road from that happening to someone.
We have yet to try a yd100, but will probably do a video on it at some point. There’s a new motor kit form someone on Facebook called the “Avenger 85” that’s supposed to go 50mph out of the box, and we are gonna try it out
I'm about to get this exact bike for my daughter so we can build a motor bike for her birthday. Do you start it with a clutch on the left handlebar (like 'pop' the clutch)?
You better check about the legal status in your state. Even then, some city and county police like to hassle people on motorized bikes. Some states are ok with motorized bikes like Louisiana and both Carolinas. I got a bunch of stuff to build with like even a couple of Phantom 85s, but my state Idaho hates motorized bikes. They make it impossible to to ride anywhere on them, and they will take them away from you. So anybody from Idaho, forget it, the cops will get you for sure.
Get rid of the coaster brake and install front/rear rim brakes. Stopping is more important than going fast. Lose the fender. Also remember helmets are only necessary for people who have brains worth protecting.
Looks fun, i bought a 80cc kaxton but the bitch locked up i havent even started it because the clutch doesn't engage an my back tire is stuck , smh an they won't refund me or send new engine
E bikes should have been called motorcycles the whole time, because we use motors with electricity and engines with gas. They should have been calling these engine cycles. These are just what we had when motorcycles started. Basically a moped. Except the hundred year old hand build engine probably still runs.
my 2 stroke bike is faster than yours and my maybe a 80 or a 100cc not sure but did manage to go 50km keeper climng and had to slow down as it was scetchty asfck almost had the death wheel wobble
The bike turned out great there a blast there’s so much you can do to them
Thx man!!!
The fender ufffff. Good video thanks for sharing

Ya I took it off for him and we bent the coaster brake arm!

You didn't make a motorized bike, you put together a motorized bike. I've got one too, super cheap and fun, definitely worth the $85.
That’s sick man
And thanks for such a nice comment!
not necessarily
I just made a motorized bike and it’s flan but you gotta get play with it and make it your own. I just got done watching your video that was cool.
I would ditch the front fender or make sure to locktite every nut and bolt. If it gets loose at 25mph your in for a bad crash. I saw the blood stain on the road from that happening to someone.
That’s a good idea, I’ll make sure to take it off
I have the same bike and put a motor on it.. I love it
Good work man, Made the exact thing with a yd 100
We have yet to try a yd100, but will probably do a video on it at some point. There’s a new motor kit form someone on Facebook called the “Avenger 85” that’s supposed to go 50mph out of the box, and we are gonna try it out
Just made one it started right up first try lol thanks for the video

Bearings are ok right now

Yeah, the way you start it is you go on a hill pull the clutch in, and once you get enough speed, you drop the clutch and it’ll start
@@BT_Motorized Awesome, thanks for the info man. Can't wait, it looks so fun!
@@blainrinehart8865 no problem man. Good luck on your build!

We are in Utah and the cops love us!

Thanks!

We’ve since done that, thanks for the advice!
Slowing down is important. Suddenly stopping spells disaster.
Looks fun, i bought a 80cc kaxton but the bitch locked up i havent even started it because the clutch doesn't engage an my back tire is stuck , smh an they won't refund me or send new engine
That’s tough man hopefully you can figure something out
$50. No such thing as a Walmart in Europe so the cheapest bikes we would get would be maybe 3 times that (?). Good stuff.
Dang, that’s cracking
Jeeeeezzz you said he was a pro 😂 dnt know abt dat now😂
He is a pro, we just didn’t have the universal adapter for the front at the time.
What size bike is it
The wheels?

Yeah 😅
E bikes are nothing like motorcycles similar but not the same
@illkid86 I'll say it another way. Motors are electric. Engines use combustible fuel. So the term has never been logical.
Is everyone just going to ignore the fact that the motor isn’t bolted down in the front😂
Haha
Haha

probably it's 50 bucks because it's 1 speed with coaster brakes
