Beautiful knives. You are so right, a slight difference and a little bit more care and it makes a knife almost completely different. Thanks for sharing and have a great day.

Stephen... I'm a retired sailor. We used a term while I was on active duty that referred to things that were expressed in the smallest detail, "nuking it." Associated with work done on the nuclear power plants for surface ships and submarines. Sometimes this term had negative connotations. But in reality the finest work, requiring the smallest of detail was synonymous with the term. And you sir are nuking it. Thanks for the video.

      Hey buddy 👊🏼
      Love that - "Nuking it!"
It's hard to beat a sailor or a soldiers sense of humour, for sure... 👌🏼

So true Paddy. I have a small double slotted leather belt sheath that carries a GEC 14 Boys knife in ebony and an AG Russell small jack in Ivory(3" & 3.25" respectively) that I carry together. It feels like home when I carry them. 👍

    Sir Paddy of Potato's ☘️
That is a great posse of puppies, right there, Stephen! 👌🏼
Presented, 'Bristol fashion', and if they were turned, left wheel, on a 90⁰ axis, they would line up like the ships at Spithead in the 1914 fleet review...

Good advice. Ergonomics seems to be lost on a lot of modern makers - so many angular handles with exposed bolts and pocket clips, which is one reason I prefer traditionals now. Was pleasantly surprised with the feel of my first stockman when it arrived today. Case did a lovely job of fit and finish (except all 3 blades were scuffed due to blade rub!)🧐😥

Great bit of information, Paddy. I’ve had knives I loved at first that, after a few minutes use, I didn’t love so much anymore. Have a great day!

I favor a deep clip point. But in the end, the handle and the blade talk to each other. A knife can be pleasing with any blade shape as long as the aesthetics and design coalesce.
