    Succulents really love light. If they don't get enough, they tend to stretch out and get tall in order to seek it out - which can be a little tough when you go farther north (PNW checking in!). If you don't have a good, well-lit window, you can find small desk-lamp style grow lamps for individual plants. :)

      Might need to give her a desk lamp light!

    I always love seeing praise for the Fyodor Pavlov Tarot. I got it as soon as it came to mass market after falling in love with post-kickstarter images of it. It's so elegant and classical, but isn't stiff or emotionless the way so many "traditionally" styled decks are. And the diversity in it is beautiful! It's a top 5 deck for me even though I've not had it for that long, just because it's easy to read with and a joy to look at.

    Ohh I’ve been debating the Fyodor Pavlov for so long because I wasn’t sure about the muted colour palette just like you said but you’re making me reconsider haha because I know we are both colour lovers 💗 I love seeing mass market decks getting hyped 🙌

    You can absolutely trim your plant to keep it short.
    (I'm a cactus grower and have many succulents)
    They do need light and the growth you're seeing is what's called stretching. This means the plant is seeking light. Find a window or space that gets nice sun, but doesnt get too hot as succulents can get burned.
    Only water once the soil is completely dry to prevent rot and that way the plant wont split from over drinking.

    • @Lisa_Papez
      @Lisa_Papez  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you!!! Sadly we don't get a lot of direct sunlight - it's living in the sunniest window we have which gets a few hours of morning sun when conditions are right LOL She might just be... stretchy!

    Hi Lisa, I love this series, I’m someone who independent decks are out of my price range, I live in Australia and shipping a deck to here is stupid expensive sometimes. I don’t have any Paulina Cassidy tarot decks, however I do have her Faerie Guidance Oracle which I absolutely love, it’s got some great self worth messages and it’s really gentle. The artwork is also pretty vivid, I think it would actually pair really well with the Phantasma tarot. I got the faerie guidance oracle about 10 years ago when I was first diagnosed with anxiety and depression and I was going through my eating disorder, and it’s been with me ever since, it was actually the first oracle deck I ever bought, I have used it when I need a boost, but I have also been using it when I’ve been working through stuff in therapy, it’s been really a really supportive deck.

    I love the way Paulina Fae does animals in "Spiritsong Tarot," but I don't get along with her fantastical people and creatures (even though I really like anthropomorphic decks). Woodland Wardens really is something special. I choose "Wisdom of Hafiz" over "Love Yourself", and I so appreciate how Hafiz has a verb/action to take for almost every card! If you haven't given them a close look, "Influence of Angels" and "Golden Tarot" are a couple of excellent mm decks, with clear RWS scenes but also scratching the itch for classic art, and they've both recently been released in linen (the guidebook for Influence of Angels is crazy good, btw). Surprised that some of your favorites haven't shown up in this series yet (This Might Hurt, Anna K, Tattoo Tarot, Witches Wisdom, Mystical Moments, Tarot of Light, Everyday Witch, When my Soul Whispered), but I assume you'll get to them. Thanks Lisa!

    Yasssss I never see the botanical inspirations anywhere and it is my favourite and ONLY plant deck. It has so much; you can read the quote or the keywords or dive deeper with the bit of history in the guidebook, or the colour of the flower...there is SO MUCH. I mean I don't think I've featured it too much on my channel either...it seems to be one of those things that exists and it's so integrated in my life I never think to talk about it 🤦

    I love Woodland Wardens! Just got it a couple of weeks ago and so happy I did. Its a great daily card draw and I write the key words in my planner each day. I actually love the card stock.
    It is really had to find right though! It's out of stock with all the major retailers and most of the available copies I found were selling $5-10 or more over list price or were obviously fakes. Which makes me really sad. I finally found it in stock at a small shop out of West Virginia that sells a lot of Jessica's works and I'm so glad I did!
    I am going to need the Botanical inspirations deck next. 😅

    I'm so surprised that you own the Fyodor Pavlov tarot! I was a journey for me to get the deck. I missed the Kickstarter by a few days. I preordered it once it came to mass market but when it came out deleted my preorder. That was such a frustrating time because I am so in love with this deck. I did get it, eventually. But now with how pretty it is I can't bring myself to use it, and I want to. It's just so pretty. I bought the tarot the Divine masculine recently as well which is my first indie deck and it's too pretty to use too! 😢

It lends itself wel to intuitive reading. For me, the deck feels like a warm hug. It definitly has a special place in my collection. :) I'm so glad to see it in your list.

    Great video, Lisa. Interestingly, I didn't connect with the Phantasma Tarot. And I'm a huge fan of Paulina Cassidy. My favorite of hers is the Paulina with Joie de Vivre a close second and the Spiritsong for my animal themed Tarot. It just goes to show how individual Tarot tastes are.

    I don't mean this in a negative way, I just don't get it: What's the point of having a picture on a card if there are also keywords or quotes? Do you read them differently than if there were only words on the card?

    • @khan7459
      @khan7459 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      you could obviously just read the words. But you can also read the picture alone or the picture and the words in combination, complementing each other, giving a certain direction or spin to each other - you can try. Write 5 keywords on cards, then choose 5 random postcards or pictures, mix the keywords , give each to one picture , and try to make a connection for each pair. Then mix the keyword cards again, deal them to the pictures, and try to connect the different combinations. The same word should give you a slightly different meaning , depending on the image. Or at least it does for me. Maybe it is just working for very visual people.
