Take for example Tokyo Ghoul or Fullmetal Alchemist and Black Butler. There are a lot of animes that you've never heard of that you might like out there, so try looking it up. When it comes down to it, Pokemon isn't the only really good animes, and the dub you've probably been watching is apparently a really bad dub, except for the first opening song.
