In transformers lore, him and Optimus were as close as brothers at one point. Optimus became a follower of megaton and his movement on cybertron and megaton even served as a mentor to Optimus at one point.

This movie may suck shit but deeym this megatron look soooo sick. I'm also glad they got Frank Welker to do megatron in this, but damn i miss Hugo's voice acting for megatron.
What I’ve always loved about Megatron is that his “crew” (or army) is extremely diverse and full of different personalities. And while he uses force to get them in line and do what needs to be done according to the task at hand, he never suppresses their preferences and styles. It might be all you can do when marketing different toys, but it’s still nice to see it this way in lore and adaptations.
@@FakeJake5843He was gonna voice megatron in the first live action movie but Michael Bay thought a cartoony voice wouldn’t fit him, so he had to be replaced by Hugo Weaving. But Frank still voice 2007 megatron in games, and on the ride and in the 4th and 5th films
@@notofthisgod32 I Absolutely Agree Michael Bay not allowing Frank Welker to Voice Megatron in all of The Transformers Live Action Movies was a Huge Miss Opportunity. I’m Hoping when Megatron Appears In The Transformers Rebooted Films that The Creators Of These Reboot Live Action Transformers Film Get Frank Welker instead of Someone Else To Voice Megatron.
Who else here loves to see Megatron finally being strong again? He just got his arm chopped off and nearly kill Optimus using his own sword almost immediately
This is how Megatron should've looked in the 2007 film: If Optimus looked like he did in the Bumblebee movie, and Megatron like this, that would be amazing
Frank Walker is indeed impressive in the realm of voice acting. He has an extensive career, lending his voice to a wide range of characters in both animated series and video games. His work includes iconic roles such as Megatron in "Transformers," the voice of Scooby-Doo, and various characters in "DuckTales" and "Teen Titans." His versatility and ability to bring different characters to life have made him a notable figure in the industry.
This is the best designed Megatron. It resembles his original G1 design with his hand cannon and vaguely his face mask but it also has Frank Welker giving a pretty scary version of the voice (a combination of Hugo Weavings and the old G1). Kinda wish we got more.
I wished we got more of the plot about Unicron, they shown a little bit of Unicron during the post credits, but it never went further into it then just that so I hope later in the future they return to this
I would probably guess that "G4" Megatron... was NOT happy about Transporting Humans inside of the Cockpit of himself... that's why he transformed low at the ground. He wanted to at least be a bit respectful to not kill the Captives when he Transforme... and that was also why he flipped upside down, he decided to "dump" the two captives out of himself... but, he did Roar at them with the *GO THE FUCK AWAY!* type Roar. He was irritated, but was harmless to those two Cia Operatives. You can hear it in his voice too, he was much nicer to Lennox... because he knew that he didn't have to carry any more humans from that point on. But, I do see this Generation Four Megatron being a more humble, but still, a Calculative and violent Decepticon. Once a Decepticon, always a Decepticon... unless they change sides, then it's game on.
He looked so fucking good in this movie. I honestly miss the days Megatron being present was scary. Make him the main villain again. And no more humans for fuck's sake. I did want a legitimate team up with optimus against someone though. Then they both head home to rebuild. Both of them calling each other brothers means more than just a line in the script for me.
Anyone notice Megatron's transformation sound "tink tink tink" has been the same for all the movies since the first TF movie. Dope and Frank Welker is originally MEGATRON! He did the most voices from g1, to prime to the last two films and some games which is dope
If you’re wondering why Megatron is back to his old name in “The Last Knight” after being Galvatron in “Age of Extinction”, it’s because Quintessa restored him to his original form between the two movies. This is also the first time that Frank Welker reprised his role as Megatron in a live action movie, as originally intended (and will likely do so in future movies). Instead of Welker, Hugo Weaving played the voice of Megatron in the first three of Michael Bay’s Transformers movies.
1:31 you can tell regardless of the physical abuse Megatron inflicted on Starscream they both respected each other in Bayverse which was a nice change from the whole Starscream wanting to be leader and just miserably failing to kill Megatron

One of my all time favourite Megatrons. And it's refreshing to hear Frank Welker as the voice. Yeah, I kinda wish he did more/had a bit more screen time, but overall, probably my number 1 fav, if not second after TFP.
It sounds like you're a big fan of Frank Welker's portrayal of Megatron! His voice work as Megatron is iconic and definitely memorable. It’s understandable to wish for more screen time, but his performances have left a lasting impact. “Transformers Prime” also has a strong Megatron portrayal, so it makes sense why you’d rank that highly as well. Which specific version or series of Megatron are you referring to?
1:31 Frank welker/Megatron/Galvatron: "the end is near, my old traitorous friend." "What a shame, you'll be able to see it." *growlers* *growling* "we were brothers once!" 5:47 Peter Cullen/optimus/Nemesis Prime/Orion pax: *growling/growls* "once?" *grunts/yells*
It sounds like you're talking about *Transformers: Dark of the Moon* (2011). In this film, Megatron's design is indeed notable for its distinctive, menacing appearance, and Frank Welker, who originally voiced Megatron in the '80s cartoon, returns to voice the character. His performance adds a lot of depth to the character, making Megatron even more memorable.
I think one of the few good things about this movie is that they actually made Megatron to be a lot stronger and durable, cuz on Transformers 2 and 3 all they need to destroy like half of Megatron's face are literally just a couple of Tank rounds
If this was the Megatron from TF Prime, Armada, or Cybertron, I bet that he would have just glanced at that girl with annoyance then just blasted her without even caring for what she has to say to him. Seriously, I don't think Megatron would allow ANY human to speak to him for a split second before he shot them. TFP Megatron certainly had no problem in shooting Bumblebee and Raf with Dark Energon.
To me it shows that megatron doesnt want to fight with optimus anymore, like at the end of tf3 and in the end of tfp, he seems to be beyond his old motivation for power and now he just thinks in a future for cybertron and the whole cybertronian race, thats why he speaks to optimus like "stop acting like a psycho for 1 second and help me rebuild our planet, the war is over", thats character development right there

Not only that Megatron is one of the strongest positive highlights in TLK, but he’s also the best and badass appearance of the character in all the five films he appears in
The scene where he wants his crew could have been perfect for bringing back characters like shock wave sound wave and a few iconic Decepticons since Quintessa was able to fix megaron to his original consciousness so this could have meant she could have done the same with Starscream Shockwave and Soundwave.

It's more 3motional when you realized megatron literally held the blade in optimus throat. He could have killed him right there, but he hesitated and reminded their long gone brotherhood
In transformers lore, him and Optimus were as close as brothers at one point. Optimus became a follower of megaton and his movement on cybertron and megaton even served as a mentor to Optimus at one point.

2:50 It still bothers me that Megatron didn’t decide to kill Optimus Prime there. He had no reason to let him live, and he wasn’t going to watch the Knights execute Prime anyway, so why not kill him now?
Most likely because he thought the knights would kill him
Because Transformer movie suck, bad plot, stupid villains.

Frank Welker's line "Decepticons, retreat!" is the same one he said as Soundwave in the animated series, only less enhanced.
Really gave the Saturday morning cartoon vibes of G1 lol

Looked up Frank Welker's filmography and I'm very surprised by how many voice acting cast he did. Very impressive

Yea haha he acts kinda discusted with humans at times and its kinda funny in a way
He looked so fucking good in this movie. I honestly miss the days Megatron being present was scary. Make him the main villain again. And no more humans for fuck's sake.
I did want a legitimate team up with optimus against someone though. Then they both head home to rebuild. Both of them calling each other brothers means more than just a line in the script for me.
Ikr they should make a movie about the war for cybertron no humans but in the end the autobots will end in earth leaving us in a cliffhanger
Anyone notice Megatron's transformation sound "tink tink tink" has been the same for all the movies since the first TF movie. Dope and Frank Welker is originally MEGATRON! He did the most voices from g1, to prime to the last two films and some games which is dope
Looking muscular and scary, with a fusion cannon on his right arm, and the ability to fly. Now that's Frank Welker's Megatron.

It sounds like you're a big fan of Frank Welker's portrayal of Megatron! His voice work as Megatron is iconic and definitely memorable. Although this isn't my favorite Transformers film, I admit I really love Megatron's design in this film. And he's actually voiced by Frank Welker.
This Megatron just really didn’t care about the girl lol

Edit- thanks for the likes
To me it shows that megatron doesnt want to fight with optimus anymore, like at the end of tf3 and in the end of tfp, he seems to be beyond his old motivation for power and now he just thinks in a future for cybertron and the whole cybertronian race, thats why he speaks to optimus like "stop acting like a psycho for 1 second and help me rebuild our planet, the war is over", thats character development right there
