    Hi forensic anthropologist here! Half the things Lauren talks about doing she is NOT qualified to be doing she is/was a mortician not a medical examiner, forensic scientist, or pathologist. As a funeral home director she isn’t investigating crime scenes or offering opinions to police officers. She isn’t a medical professional she should not be performing autopsies or anything even similar. Half her stories are either exaggerated, lies, or stolen. Trust PROFESSIONALS if she wants to talk about funeral practices or embalming amazing she’s qualified but talking about child safety, car seats, or investigations is irresponsible and not her field.

      I went to school for mortuary science. I also did work for my local corner's office I did Body removal once it was cleared by the corners office .ect . Small towns don't all have a place to get licensed for mortuary science so they have to train under someone. I guess like her dad then go to a place like McAllister and prove she did a certain amount of hours ect. She would never do a lot of the things she is claiming she did . I worked in the corners office and didn't even do a lot of the stuff she says she did. In fact a some of her facts don't make sense .

    I have seen multiple TikTok’s from this woman, claiming that she has done things that only in medical examiner should do. so, that leaves us two options. 1, she’s lying or 2, the funeral home that she worked at was allowing someone with no medical background, no training in medicine, and no training in forensic science to act as medical examiner which is a bigger problem

    • @ANYHOO0
      @ANYHOO0 ปีที่แล้ว +35

      A lot of smaller places don't have actual medical examiners. Regular doctors, morticians and even less qualified people are the coroners, so unless foul play is suspected they can declare the cause of death and fill out the death certificate. Not a great system, especially in this day and age.

    I'm going to have to stop Ms. Braun with her "admitting to copyright infringement" nonsense. No. Using a parody defense is admitting to *using* the copyrighted material, not infringement. Just like self-defense arguments for murder is admitting to *killing* the person, not to *murder.* Those are legal terms, murder and copyright infringement, and the whole thing about these valid defenses is that they make the action essentially *not that.* Killing someone in self-defense isn't murder. Legally using copyrighted material, by definition, isn't copyright infringement. If it was, it wouldn't be legal.

    • @mariapaz6379
      @mariapaz6379 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe you are thinking of swatting, a wellness check only makes sure that the person in question is there and can answer the police. Thats why wellness checks are not so effective for people who do self harm, they can just say "im okay" and be done. Police are not violent in wellness checks.
      On the other hand, its a threat regardless. Because it basically says "i know who you are, were you live and could hurt you if i wanted"

    (Disclaimer: I have autism) I've only seen like two of her videos and in one of them she calls herself an AUTISM MOMMY. wtf? She is the mother of an autistic child. She doesn't have autism. It's giving vibes of her thinking she's this hero for having a developmentally disabled child. And then when you add in her natural remedies/vaccine rhetoric I get such icky vibes, I can see her on those mum forums talking about how vaccines cause autism. I dread to think about the environment that child is growing up in given how she's acting.

    Explanation for kitti and what a villian life coach is: she essentially tells folks her way of scaring away men who cant take no for an answer. Basically when a guy wont stop cat calling make him think your certified crazy and problem solved. Now do i think all men giving compliments deserve that treatment? No, but most woman/hell even young girls have dealt with someone who took it way too far.
    And the reason people are getting them confused is they both use the beetle juice thing where they showcase comment's tagging them on others videos then stitch the video and give their commentarys on it. Vastly different video types too,woman recounting harassing storys for kitty, and anything death for lauren.
    Its not at all because they look alike but bc people were complaining bout Laurens drama with the carseat dude which sent hate kittys way bc people would explain who its about saying you know the girl who does the beetle juice thing. Well With two people doing the beetle juice thing its understandable that people got their lines crossed but kitti only did her very original video to explain that they are different creators with sus ass similar calling cards(beetle juice thing)(i guess you could call it).

I think all of the creators should get together and sue them both for harassment, given the ludicrous emails Janet sends out and the fact that both Lauren tM and Janet have lied about what they've done. Kitty's schtick is making men who aggressively sexualize women just walking down the street,so uncomfortable about what she says back to them,that they learn to leave women alone. Self-Studying to be a forensic pathologist here! (Self study because I’m not yet old enough for college but plan on going!) I wish more people would realize that a mortician does FUNERAL PREPARATIONS!! If you want to get into autopsies and stuff, you want to aim for forensic pathology. Forensic pathology deals with the autopsies, and can sometimes work with police investigations (not always). Sometimes autopsies are not done for investigation purposes. Sometimes they are used for specifications(examples: heart attack due to heart defect, allergy discovered too late, etc.) sometimes they are good for discovering medical conditions or genetic mutation’s previously undiscovered. If this kind of thing intrigues you definitely look into being a FP and not just a mortician!

    As someone who passed the bar and wrote a journal comment on copyright law in law school... I cannot believe this lawyer. There is no case here. No judge would give this the time of day.
    Also, putting a video up on a snark subreddit will not be enough for a judge to call copyright infringement. They are not taking viewers away from the original content that would then harm the moneymaking opportunities of the original poster, they are not claiming it to be their own content, and they are not profiting off of the original creator's work. It is posted for purposes of discussion and commentary, and not to infringe on copyright. A judge would dismiss this immediately.
