- Oud & Lute - King of Instruments -
The origin of the oud belongs to the ancient times and similar instruments were used by the Babylonian and ancient Egyptian. Until today, oud is played as the "king of instruments" in Arabic culture.
The oud found his way to Europe in medieval times and it became "lute". During the Renaissance the lute was also regarded as the "king of instruments".

Thank you so much for enjoying my music!
in the stillness of my mind a Zen garden lies
where ripples of calm and peace gently rise
amidst the chaos of the world outside
within my being serenity resides
smooth stones of mindfulness carefully placed
each thought and feeling delicately embraced
sand of time shifting with each breath i take
in this inner sanctuary my spirit awakes
the bonsai tree of wisdom rooted deep within
branches reaching for the sky a dance to begin
the koi fish of clarity swimming in my soul
guiding me towards unity making me whole
as i tend to this garden with love and care
i find balance and harmony beyond compare
in the Zen garden within my being
i discover peace in every sight and feeling

Great music and performance. Oud is an instrument that truly cures ailments with its gentleness and soulful tones. Boarders and claims aside, it remains an Eastern musical instrument that will please the ears and gladden the heart of anyone who is willing to listen.
Thanks a lot for your description. Oud is also an instrument that is very difficult to master...

Good oud music
Hermosa música e instrumentos. Gracias por tus videos.
As a guitar player i have a real soft spot for plucked or picked stringed instruments, and the oud has got to be one of my favorites. Such a nice and dynamic sound, and the same can be said for this guys playing :)
Thanks a lot!

Did you ever consider to dabble with a West African kora?
Thank you for listening. Please watch my video about mastering an instrument: th-cam.com/video/OMm1E54gUr4/w-d-xo.html
It's easy to get a nice sound from an instrument. But to reach the hearts of listeners with an instrument takes almost a lifetime. So for me, there is no question of trying out another instrument.
@@NaoSogabe I understand, thanks for the link.
