Sorry about the audio issues at a few points in the video. Sometimes I borrow music from another video and I forgot to lower the volume in a few spots.
Maybe the town could be called Les Deux Lacs, founded by French settlers who were exiled from France after sending their daughter to school (which was illegal for girls at the time) this is why they built such a large high school in a small town, to make sure there daughter had the best education, the town could also be called Libre Du Mal or Jacqueline (named after their daughter)
sounds like a town in Wisconsin.
God loves us all so much that he gave his perfect son to die for our sins and raised him from the grave to defeat death. Through faith in JESUS we can be saved and reconciled to GOD. please repent🙏♥️
Your question @24mins regarding the road snapping to trees, you have to click off the last two boxes in the road snapping menu. One of the newer mods causes this to happen!
It's a feature of extra landscaping, I believe. It's just set to default on, and should only be needed when doing something spiffy. So probably just needs the default switched. But it's useful for adding things to roofs and balconies and such, I think.
@@pcdosgirl I agree, it should default to off. So eveytime I load my save I turn those two off. And snap to guidelines cause that breaks zones so easily
As a person who lives in tampere its so weird to see all these youtubers building their own cities on the map of my home
Aye Finish brothers 🤝🇪🇪🇫🇮, currently staying in Tallinn

Naming it Windermere could be cool. There's the original Windermere in England which is a pretty lake in the countryside and then there is also outside Orlando, Florida surrounded by a bunch of lakes
I feel like the name Lake Lucid fits perfectly
lucid lake
@@MrGorillaVR it’s not a fortnite POI lol
The name of the new area I would call : Amohra Lake. Founded in 1922 by the great British influence from Europe having found many resources of Wildlife and Nature, Amohra Lake was a shallow yet deep lake to find clay resources for the brick building industries followed by trade and markets
I’ve seen someone propose to name the city “Les Deux Lacs” and I pretty like it ! As I’m French I can tell that it could really be a name for a French settlers city !
As always, love your content bro🫶
I’m loving the new town. Lake or Creek needs to be included in its name.
How about naming the town brixenbarg
Story - this town was the oldest town in this area found upon the lakes , the town bixten is also inspired by the town because it was established by the citizens of brixenbarg as a shipping harber .
Bro the name and the story is a super cool idea bro
@@sampro2075 thanks 🙏🏿.
Can’t wait till this town is basically a suburb of the city. Merging together during urban expansion
The *ginourmous* elementary school was just what this town needed 😍😍
You could call the Landerson, and the lake could be called Landerson Lake. The town looks so quaint and cute 😊 Also, i think you should rename the main street to Main Street.
What's up bro, nice video as always.
Disable the second last snapping option to prevent your roads from snapping to trees and other small object surfaces. I think the last two snapping options come with the detailing mod.
Came here to find this comment - this is the way to fix your issue at 25:00 in.
You could call the town Beaudemonte if you want a french vibe
Great video!
24:30 One of the snapping options is "snap to surfaces" or something. The one with an arrow pointing to an empty square I think. It's making your road snap to any surface, including the trees.
Paused the video at 19:40, but if it's seriously the first time you see a 3x6 house in City Skylines 2.. you either started playing just days ago or you never really built big 12 wide deep blocks anywhere in your cities.. I litterally start my towns with only 3x6 house on my side making it like a checker board (skipping a 3x6 plot of land between each other 3x6 where placed low housing) until it's fully full and then I fill the rest to make it complete itself.
For the name of the new little town.. I know I may be totally late, but how about trying to take some cultural word from the first nations to name it.. after all I am pretty sure that if there would have been a place like that near the Great Toronto Area, first nations tribe would have made a settlement there. Something like Mishigami which means Big Lake in Ojibwe could be a good name idea. I think it would only show some respect to the ones who were here first that the settlers that settled there continued to name it like the one who were there first named it.
If you place a sidewalk directly next to the road the grid is snapping to, it will shift it, you can then delete the path and it will stay on the street. You can also use the road mod to make the road you don't want to grid attached to into a quay temporaily while you zone the other road.
I see what you mean haha but for me Markham and Vaughn are still part of Toronto because of the way everything is build, feels like a massive city. Oshawa or Barrie is more like it if you create a space between the cities :P
The town could be called Lost point.
The story behind the name:
The town was originally a small village cut off from the rest of the world until new settlement was made (I forgot the name of the big city. Lol) and the new settlement soon grow to a big city, when looking for a new area to extend too they found the village and the the bigger settlement people nickname the smaller lost point, over the years lost point became the official name.
name of the town, DOS BOCAS (two mouths) refere to the two entrys of the creek you create to conect the lakes. is a real town in argentina
Hey. Maybe It could be called Vernal Lake, as in the spring it reveals all its beauty. Vernal Lake is a spot for those who seek a relaxing weekend away from Bixton. The town attracts many tourists to enjoy the nature around it and offers the true small american town vibe.
You can fix the "bug" by deselecting the arrow pointing to the square in the snapping area, im pretty sure the mod is the extra 3.0 one or something
good afternoon Timeister, from beautiful sunny, Allenstown, NH.
Cute new town. For the town square, the better bulldozer lets you delete the fence sub element then you can anarchy in path connections from the other sides and your people can walk through. 😉
Hey! Quick suggestion, you might wanna zone smaller plots since the town is relatively young and most of the population renting them would be young generation. So I’m guessing you are gonna get those high rent issues soon. So just for an early precaution you could do that
beautiful town🤩🤩
I think you should connect all the lakes until it’s basically a river wrapping around bixton
“Tim’s Creek”
“Shore Ville”
As my name suggestions ‼️
Maybe the town could be called something simple like Waterbury sence it is on the water
In IRL the place you built the town is close to a area of the city we call Hervanta so mayeb you call it that.
Nameing suggestions for the new town... Creekville, Lakevillle, Five Lakes, Lake Crossing, Waterville, Watertown.
I was thinking of something ending with "creek" like maybe
Willow creek
Bear creak
Little mill creak
Stones creak,
I love your vids so keep up the good work! 😊
Hi Timeister, It think the small lakefront town is a perfect fit for a name like Lexington featuring the Lexington Lake as the main attraction and the small but desirable downtown
from bangladesh and love your gamplay and plz make a village 😊😊
*in the voice of Hammy from Over the Hege*
"But i like the large boring suburbs"
Borstone town is a unique town name in my opinion, the name of the lake could be named Borstone Lake reserve. The central square could also be named Borton main square
For the road going to the trees you can fix it in your snap to button. This game is probably going to be great to cs1 in 5 years. Town name Rolling River
You could do something like Barrie-Angus-Borden and Wasaga on a smaller scale
도로를 지을 때 나무위로 지어지는 건 꾸미는 모드 깔며 생긴 ’표면에 맞춤‘ 체크 해제하면 정상적으로 도로가 지어집니다
You could turn this new town into a wealthy community like Bronxville just above NYC
I have a naming suggestion , Laketown
How about something from the Lake District?
Ullswater seems fitting.
I guess there’s no question about the performance issues anymore. 180K+ population and looks like he’s running smooth.
Make a big nature park between the 2 city’s
Some name ideas:
Lakeland, Ozark, Shoreside
use the zoning tools Mod more. It helps me a lot.
Put a ferry on the lake!
Call It
Agora Lake
Or Old Town Brixen
What about calling the Town Trenton.
I think the city could be called inner bay
Burruwung is a nice name
is this music from epidemic sound or ingame?
How about calling the town Blueberry due to the many blueberrie bushes growing around the lakes.
You need the zoning mod that biffa has
Get the zoning toggle mod so you can toggle zoning to the roads you want
How about Woodridge?
Damn bro where did you learn to edit
Music is way too loud in some parts
Town name: Lake Norman
You should name the town misery because of my misery
“Historic Lakewood”
How about LaBoute
Early on you said Vaughn as Vaw-gin but it’s actually pronounced Von!
evergreen lakes or evergreen heights
What is the name of the base map and can I find it in Paradox Mods in CS2?
Still wondering what the name of the base map is
anyone gonna tell me?
Guess I won't find out
Day 2 of asking Timeister to play Transport Fever 2
"Lakeshire" sounds good, what do you say ??????
Why we are not calling Fort Langley or Paisley 😅
They call them satellite cities.
I think that for Citie skylines 3 zoning mode should make a change, i don't know how but I'm getting tired of it being so I don't know, old?? If something works why change it Ok yehah I get it but...
First 🎉 you are The beat
The town should be called Lakeland
Medical
How about Terry Corners.
Story: the town was founded by Terry Sainte, An French-American Lumber jack
Turn off the snap to objects (arrow and square one)
You could name it opelika cause opelika is a small town near auburn alabama
God loves us all so much that he gave his perfect son to die for our sins and raised him from the grave to defeat death. Through faith in JESUS we can be saved and reconciled to GOD. please repent🙏♥️
repent for what 😭
hello from a fan in Niagara Falls, NY. Anyway, I like the "More Education Buildings" mod-gives a little bit more variety for school placement. Also I agree with @koushikdas657 on the town name idea they have
Leland like lake land city because it fits the area its in don't you think?🙃😊
