I'm pretty sure that if they could make a new series corresponding to transformers animated the scrip was going to have Blurr resurrected because his spark was not crushed and then join the main cast in till it was cancelled I saw this from other videos.

Transmutate’s death in Beast Wars was probably the most impactful to me. What struck me about it was just how unfair it was. Transmutate had only just come online and both factions wanted to get rid of her because she was defective. In the end, after living for less than a day, she sacrificed her life to stop her only two friends from killing each other. Transmutate was probably the most innocent character in Beast Wars and her death still makes me tear up.

Gotta love how the good guy ‘Honourable Warrior’ and the bad guy ‘Murderous Psychopath’ were the only two to really care. It really made me care about the two. Silverbolt’s compassion extended into caring for anyone who deserved a chance, while Rampage appreciated Transmutate for what she was.

For me the thing that traumatized me the most was the scene where Elita-1 transforms into Blackarachnia in transformers animated. I think it's because of the atmosphere of the episode as a whole, the fact that it was related to spiders, plus because it was a straight up body horror shown in a kids show, and they did not hesitate to show off how freaky it was.

Blurr was actually supposed to SURVIVE. In the sequel comic, they even followed it up by having him contact someone with psychic powers who realized his Spark was still present, and Sari used her key to fix him. Derrick Wyatt actually intended that for Season 4 but it got cancelled and rewritten as a comic.

I’ll never forget, I was 10 years old watching ROTF in theaters with my grandma. Watching Optimus fight 3 bots at once was the pinnacle of action to me. Optimus was strong, but he wasn’t indestructible. He argued with them while he fought, trying to avoid anymore death. But when he was shot and fell to his knees, I knew something was wrong, then he boldly proclaims…”I’ll take you all on!” And his theme begins to play, good was finally triumphing over evil! Optimus cuts off Starscream’s arm, almost cuts of Megatron’s leg, and rips helicopter guy’s face in half! He stood heroically over his victory, but it wasn’t over yet. The sound of Megatron’s blade piercing Optimus’s chest still haunts me to this day. I remember the maelstrom of emotions I felt as Optimus’s sparkless body smashed against the ground. My life was forever changed…

Seriously, this video is too underrated. Amazing quality, not just the video and editing itself, but as well as the shots with the toys are just super crisp and beautiful. Great discussion too! To not spoil anything for those who still haven't watched, I'll just say I did NOT expect the somewhat poetic and analytical route you took. And to top it all, ended with the best message I've seen for a Transformers discussion video. I can't express enough about how much I appreciate this _masterpiece_ of a video. I can tell you put so much effort, and it DEFINITELY payed off! Thank you so much for this!
Also, as I first grew up with the Bayverse, when I first saw Optimus die in RotF, my 4 year-old self turned away and cried. Truly heartbreaking to see your favorite murderous big red and blue 'bot get stabbed and shot in the chest lol

I don't know if it so much scarred me, but Dinobot's death in Beast Wars still resonates with me to this day. The former Predacon valiantly giving his life to protect the budding human civilization from Megatron and the other Preds with no backup and dwindling power reserves as the fight went on, and actually managing to hold them off just long enough for the Maximals to arrive and drive them off. He struggled so much with his morality and code of honor, but still managed to die a hero by securing the future of the human race and the cost of his own.

I never really grew up with Transformers, my first introduction into the franchise being from the Michael Bay films. My friend has recently gotten me into some of the shows, though. So while I wouldn't say any of the deaths traumatized me, I'd say the most shocking and disturbing would be in the third Bay film, Dark of the Moon, when Ironhide was killed. Not only did it come out of nowhere, but it was so gruesome.

the one that stuck with me the most as a kid at least visually was the Prowl getting blasted in the chest.
My dad watched the show as a kid but I don't think he saw the movie, so he got it for me thinking it would be the same goofy antics as the show. Meaning my first ever time interacting with the franchise was meeting these characters, getting a glimpse into who they were, what kind of personalities they had just to watch them die a few minutes later. It was surreal but it captivated me, no one was safe (as far as I knew) so any character could be moments away from a gruesome death like baby's first Warhammer.

I was 6 years old when my uncle took me to see Transformers in theaters in 86. I still vaguely remember him bringing me back to my mom unable to understand why his nephew was emotionally distraught over some kids movie. My dad was a trucker and so Optimus reminded me a lot of my dad so I was definitely very attached to him. So when he died I lost it. It was definitely brutal.

The death that stuck with me the most was probably Cliffjumper. From TFP. He’s the first character you see, first character you hear and the first character who DIES, All In Episode 1, Darkness Rising Part One. He was cool, talked cool looked cool had a cool vehicle mode, he was even my favorite color! and he died. I wish he survived longer. Cliff was so cool! So cool in fact that the show writers wanted him back, but since reanimating was off the table they wrote a few flashbacks with him. One where he and bee rescues Arcee from Airachnid and one spanning most of an episode where he and Arcee escape Cybertron to Earth with Starscream and Shockwave on their tail. The dude was such a talker! And he was FUNNY. He and Arcee managed to fend off Shockwave, who by the way managed to take down a good portion of the wreckers basically SOLO. and well, just look for a video explaining how powerful TFP Shockwave is. He got shot in the HEAD and survived! And Cliffjumper managed to face off against him. But in the first episode he gets blown up by some VEHICONS and then impaled by Starscream as he dies.

The first live action Transformers movie came out when I was like 13 so I basically grew up on those movies, getting attached to the characters and so on, so watching Ironhide crumble to rust actually left me crying in the theater. I haven't told anyone about this experience, but this video made me remember it and how it still affects me(this might get emotional), but I should give context.
It all happened when I was 8-12 years old. As a Bakugan fanatic, and I that was the only thing I cared. I was trying to find anything that is Bakugan on TV, but suddenly I came across upon the first episode of Transformers Prime. I loved that show and I was really invested in to it, but I couldn't watch all episodes in order at a time. Fast forward to season 2. It made me experience some heavy emotions, mostly fear and worry due to Zombie-almost-apocalypse on Nemesis, Smokescreen and Arsi vs Megatron fight and the final battles on Cybertron, that suddenly had humans' lifes on the line. And than Autobots' base was discovered. I was scared for the characters, I understood how important that home was to them. And than it got destroyed and Optimus stayed there and when I saw his arm just existing in the garbage, I felt a loss for the first time. And I didn't know that season 3 was coming meaning, for me THIS was the end of the story. I got what I was looking at the time: a story with out a happy ending and it felt hard. I wanted to cry, but I was scared of my Grandma, who actually watched that episode with me. I was afraid that if I cried, it would cause a misunderstanding, that I couldn't prevent, which would make them isolate from everything I love, because "look at these evil American cartoons that make our children suffer" (it's common mood in Russia to this day). I was able to hold back my tears back than, but I think that this where my problem of holding back my emotions too much began. It's no one's fault in particular, that I have this problem, but this just makes last episode of Transformers Prime even more impactful for me. I'm soon to become 17

When I was a kid the first ever transformers content that I watched was the Michael Bay movies. At the time I didn't fully grasp what was going on other than autobots were good and decepticons were bad. Heck I could only remember certain characters at the time as well. Those being Optimus, Bumblebee, Ironhide, and Rachet, and the rest were just no names to me. For the first two movies it didn't quite click with me that characters were dying on screen. I knew there was fighting but that was it. Then Dark Of The Moon came around and everything changed. Imagine the sheer horror on my face seeing Ironhide get shot in the chest by Sentinel and then rusting away into nothing. I've seen many of my favorite autobots die over the years but none will ever compare to that one particular scene.

Some of my first experiences with death was Beast Wars. I didn’t understand it well until Dinobot’s. It’s part of why I appreciate and love him so much. Something about loving and liking a character so much just to see them die... It was an experience, I’ll say that.
Also, saddest Transformers deaths (out of order and not all of them) for me are probably G1 and TFP Optimus, Dinobot, TFA Prowl, and Armada Starscream. Also, when I got older, I got really sad about Depth Charge and Rampage’s deaths. Rampage wanted to die by Depth Charge’s hand and both wanted to end their suffering. When I got older and understood suffering better, it was just...SAD.
