Peleș Castle is not in Transylvania but in Wallachia, right on the border between the two regions. I hope you’ll visit the rest of Romania since it’s not just Transylvania that has cool places…it’s always refreshing seeing tourists visit other places in Romania apart from Transylvania and I suggest you do the same because our country is so much more, with beauty around every corner! Also, you might have mistaken Romania as one the poorest countries in the European Union, but not Europe as a whole. There’s a HUGE difference! We are poor compared to european standards, but if compared to other countries on other continents, Romania is way above average. Most important tourist cities and sites to visit: Transylvania (Known as the last true medieval landscape left in Europe): Brașov (The biggest gothic church in Central Europe, The Black Church, is located here), Sighișoara (the only medieval citadel still inhabited in all of Europe, UNESCO site), the villages with fortified churches like Biertan or Viscri, UNESCO site, where people still relatively live like in the old days of medieval times (King Charles has a property in Viscri that you can rent for yourself. He considers Romania as his other home where he loves to visit and have fun with the locals), Timișoara (Known as Little Vienna, it was the first European city with electricity), Oradea (the most important “Art Nouveau” city in Europe), Cluj-Napoca (Unofficial capital of Transylvania. A hippie city filled with cafes, chic restaurants and very good nightlife, nicknamed the “Silicon Valley of Europe” for its importance in the European IT industry. It also has impressive architecture like much of Romania) and many others. Moldavia: Iași (The former capital of Romania and cultural capital of the country as well. Perfect city for art lovers), Painted Monasteries of Moldavia (UNESCO site with famous ones like Voroneț where the famous blue color on its walls could not be replicated by anyone to this day), Suceava (Old capital of the Principality of Moldavia, with its impressive citadel), Piatra Neamț, Târgu Neamț and its beautiful citadel and many more Wallachia: Prahova Valley, filled with cute little mountain resort towns like Bușteni (Cantacuzino Castle. Fun Fact: “Wednesday’s” Nevermore Academy used Cantacuzino Castle as the filming location for the academy itself. The whole show was filmed in Romania btw), Sinaia (Apart from Peleș Castle, the Sinaia Monstastery is also worth visiting) or Azuga, Curtea de Argeș with its famous monastery (probably the most famous in the country) linking itself to one of the most famous traditional balads in Romanian literature, “Meșterul Manole”, Poenari Castle ruins (the actual residence of Vlad the Impaler. Bran Castle was not his residence, he never lived there. The Castle was instead the residence of our beloved Queen Marie of Romania), Târgoviște (Old Capital of the Principality of Wallachia, where Vlad the Impaler ruled), Craiova (with its beautiful restored old town and opulent 19th century palaces) And don’t forget the Black Sea coast, the port city of Constanța, and sea resorts like Mamaia, Costinești or Vama Veche. The Danube Delta, the most well preserved delta in Europe, The whole Carpathian Mountains are like stepping back in time since Romania hosts the largest amount of virgin forests in Europe outside of Russia with the largest amount of bears, wolves and lynx in Europe, Transfăgărășan Highway in the mountains (nicknamed the best road in the world by Top Gear), Turda Saltmine with an underground amusement park or Bicaz Gorge. And many, many more. So next time, give other places a chance as well, I’m sure you’ll love it!
Very nice video. Make sure to visit Brasov next time. I love it there. Also the coast. We went to Constanta, Mamaia, Vama Veche, Neptun and loved them all.
I liked your vlog! You have visited only the most commercial destinations. Visit Dobrodja with the Danube Delta, Cerna Valley, Timisoara, Iasi, and Bucovina with the famous painted monasteries.🤗
The Corvin castle actually has typical vlach architecture and so does the Bran castle, with brick-orange colored roofs, thats classical Romanian/Wallachian architecture, not gothic. Kyrtosh kolaks and Gulash are 2 Hungarian foods that are highly appreciated in all of Romania, you will find Kyrtosh everywhere, Craiova, Pitesti, Constanta, Bucharest, Iasi, not just in the North. ❤
Nice travel vlog and great bitrate and video quality . But regarding 0:28 . Not sure where u heard Romania its one of the poorest country in Europe ? prob from the Horrible UK media ^^ that discredited us very often . But in reality Romania economy its sits on rank 11 in EU atm and its predicted to reach top 8 in the next few years.

@@superstrongrThe European Parliament officially asked Austria a few days ago to accept Romania into Schengen by the end of 2023. Who told you Romania is one of the poorest in Europe? We have the largest PPP per capita after Lithuania in the whole East. I guess for you the European Union is Europe. No, the EU is just the richer EU-27 part of Europe and richest countries.
Bucharest in the 1990's and early 2000's for expats was brilliant! Boring now, lost it's charm and full of mainstream tourists who would have given this place a huge massive wide berth back in the day.
