They used to, for some reason they stopped playing it recently...it's my favourite song and i'm going to see them live for the first time in 3 days so it's sad to know i'll probably never hear it live
He's a human. Humans make mistakes. And as a guitarist, I can say that it IS NOT EASY. Just cause he's a rockstar doesn't mean he's gonna be fucking perfect. Give the man a break 😒
I'm just gonna take a minute to address some issues: This is for everyone who is going on about him making a mistake in ibylgotdf: HE'S HUMAN. HE'S GONNA MAKE MISTAKES. GUITAR ISN'T FUCKING EASY This is for those of you saying he's high or drunk: STOP MAKING ASSUMPTIONS ABOUT SOMEONE YOU DO NOT KNOW ITS NOT HEALTHY JUST CAUSE HES A ROCKSTAR DOESNT MEAN THAT HE DOES DRUGS, MAYBE ITS JUST HOW HE IS YOU CANNOT MAKE ASSUMPTIONS WITHOUT EVIDENCE. Everyone has down days at work - it's the same for musicians - not every performance is gonna be perfect. just cause y'all are jealous doesn't mean you have to make shit up. He's successful and better than you. Deal with it I can't believe that some people have nothing better to do with their time than try and pull others down. that's low, very fucking low. It's kinda obvious why he doesn't have social media - people wouldn't stop attacking him Y'all really need to grow the fuck up Ted talk over
I was at this concert with my friends just outside of the pit and we were quite drunk ourselves too. We had a hell of a party with the people around us singing along, jumping and moshing and we didn't notice how bad Alex actually was before seeing this video. I don't think this video is very good either. I can certainly say that screaming wasn't the only thing the crowd did and I even think the producers have edited screaming over the audio. It doesn't justify how the atmosphere was, because it looked like everyone was having a good time. We were for sure! Yes, 10 AM-songs are WAY too much for a festival-set and we really missed When The Sun Goes Down. And one more thing ... why the hell have they slowed down Brianstorm, Dancefloor, Fluorescent and 505?! It just sounds so wrong.
Fuuuck Crying Lighting skips at 28:12. Thats sad, but what a performance! I saw this performace live at Roskilde 14, and and it was fucking GREAT! Lost all my friends in the queue in to the pit area, but met some nice danish people and had a blast! We had some funny language problem since im from Norway but that was just entertaining. The music also skips under the Knee Socks track, but anyways ffuck that, AM is my favoutute band, so this is perfect. See u at Roskilde 15 !!!
I love this festival and the vibe they create is one more point, they are such a great band and they aroused an amazing crowd as well. Earnestly their sound is changing and i prefer sticking to their former approach, it fills up my heart and it tremendously affects me, I got addicted to them because they came from the alternative scene; every band born at that time turns out to be faithful and inspired, it all changed a few years later because the commercial melodies and the newer tracks took several artists out of the natural sound, that initial spark slightly started fading away. Sadly you have many hitches to keep on your personal way while time makes things happen, it can also be ridiculous to supply the same sound all the time, as if you tried to issue a work that's not original because akin to your outset and to some other artists, so it's worth to dare tweaking the method and getting more mature (perhaps).
I wonder what the next theme for their next album will be...I mean the whole slow cool oiled hair in a suit was okay but I suspect cowboy theme for next record..
Please don't all attack me for saying this but Arctic Monkeys have been playing this setlist for the majority of their 2014 shows and to be completely honest, I'm not pleased with it. It's mostly just AM songs and I get that they're trying to promote the album but still, they should have added a few more older tunes to the setlist to mix it up a bit. Just my opinion.
I thought I watched somewhere that Alex said in an interview how the crowds haven't responded to their old songs quite well recently, so he decided to "give them the new shits" more...it's sad cuz I really miss Cornerstone along with a bunch of their old ones...
Ruby Nunes ah, for the case of Fireside, I believe there was something wrong with the guitar. Alex tends to go messing with the crowd (to distract them maybe) while technical issues are being fixed on stage.
Not Alex's best performance. His voice was off and he looked bored. I guess it doesn't help doing consecutive concerts. Ah, and he's definitely inebriated or high (watch around 33 min mark, how he stumbles before resuming Knee socks). I wish somebody made him stop drinking so much. And the smoking on stage... Not Cool!
Damn, dude, what a shame what happened to this band. They don't give a fuck about the old songs anymore, got no pleasure in playing them so why play them at all? This version of I Bet You Look Good was shameful to watch
They were ok. Kinda disapointing as a headliner though. Never seen them before but from reading the comment they are usually better than this. Or at least they used to be.
Honestly, this concert was disappointing. I was there, and Arctic Monkeys (especially lead singer Alex Turner) never fully understood to grab a hold of the crowd. Almost no crowd contact, not a single mention of their concert a couple of years ago on the same stage at Roskilde, and an, in my opinion, boring setlist with way too much feely-feely and way too few party songs. It seemed to me the setlist was directed at the inner circle of Arctic Monkey fans, which just won't work with a huge crowd like this. Of course me and my friends were having a party, because hell, it's Arctic Monkeys, but the party could have been so much more fun and energetic if they would have played some crazy songs, or atleast spiced up the many ballads this setlist contained!
He seemed bored and probably was under the influence. And his voice was off. At the previous Roskilde (was it 2011?) they were much better , or should I say Alex was better.
As for the crowd not knowing "I bet you look good on the dancefloor" shame on them ;-) Regardless, the song is soooo good, even if I hadn't known it I would have still danced like crazy. I got to know AM through their latest album -AM, but then I went back and bought every freaking thing they put out, and I'm struggling to name my favourites, there's so many I like. I am a big fan of Alex, but I can't stand drunks and I hope he gets his shit together soon! I understand why they would play most of AM, because it's their latest, and I'm sure they're bored with the old stuff. I remember when I saw them in Perth, the energy dropped quite a bit in the middle because of the consecutive slow songs, which I love, but maybe they should have been alternated with faster ones. One of the things that I find most puzzling about Alex is that he's a wonderful poet, but then he can't do easy banter during concerts, and the little he does is repeated in all the concerts (I know, I should stop watching everything AM). I'm surprised he remembers where he's playing, giving the relentless touring and drinking. But in saying all that, even at their (his) worst, AM are still pretty good.
Lol, this is so fucking far from what you call "the inner circle" of fans. So many important songs missing these days. They play more crowd pleasers than ever before, almost no hidden gems.
WantedDeadly I said "It SEEMED to me". Maybe YOU didn't get all your personal favourites played, but they still didn't play all the songs that people who doesn't really know the band that well, would know. And I think they should have.
>Put the video on 1.25x speed.
>Listen to "Fluorescent Adolescent"
>Realize it sounds just like pre-2012 Alex Turner.
>Try not to cry.
>Cry.
He (Alex turner) went from little Brit boy looking a lot like the Beatles and now he looks like the Italian mafia
I have a there t shirt i really like it and them. So i had there t shirt on and someone liked it and knew how u are! Fairbanks alaska is a little slow. I love the t shirt and yall
If Alex doesn't do the macarena then it means he doesn't give a fuck.
I adore how they played Fluorescent Adolescent, totally.

Rewatching this concert made me realize i was drunk as hell during the concert.. I remember nothing!
So was Turner 😂😂
thanks for posting this, great concert all though the setlist was bad. Was in the front pit, and Brianstorm totally made the day for me
Party anthem at this show is one of my favourites
Nossaa .. That spectacle ... 14/11/2014 anxious for the day when they will be in Brazil - Sao Paulo .. Amo Amo Amoooo
Viviani Olins - Brazil
It's sad that they don't play cornerstone anymore
When I saw them in Pittsburgh they played Cornerstone acoustically =) it was wonderful I'm surprised they don't play it live often
They used to, for some reason they stopped playing it recently...it's my favourite song and i'm going to see them live for the first time in 3 days so it's sad to know i'll probably never hear it live
Joana Lopes But My Propeller is back :)

Damn, Alex's bandmates must've really laid into him backstage after I bet you look good on the dancefloor so fucked up
34:39 just amazing
I wish they still played Brianstorm straight after Do I Wanna Know

Man my big brother was lucky enough to watch theese guys at that time...
Amazing!!!!
It was so awesome! Had a blast!! :D
beautiful set list. they are amazing live.
The order of the songs in this concert is the same as the concert they game at "T In The Park" this Sunday.
I love this festival and the vibe they create is one more point, they are such a great band and they aroused an amazing crowd as well. PublicEnemy-1 it's pretty funny how right you where. The new TLSP album was more in tune with cowboy. So that was a nice guess.
Space cowboy maybe
fucking good crowd

I was also without understanding the beginning of Fireside...
if it was coke, would be perfect!! probs just too much drink... xx
Ruby Nunes ah, for the case of Fireside, I believe there was something wrong with the guitar. Alex tends to go messing with the crowd (to distract them maybe) while technical issues are being fixed on stage.

Am is the best album.

Alex seems so freaking high and drunk....what's got into you recently?
Coke... and tequila are the usual pleasures.
...and margaritas
he's just British Luv
No mardy bum, Eh?
Library Pictures, sounded odd... He normally drags the lyrics out, like "Lie-bra-ryy Pic'churers"...
Se nota que ya estaban súper agotados de la gira....
alex esta agarrando un poco el estilo de david bowie
drunk danes everywhere
You can tell turner was tired of playing the same setlist at this point. His heart wasn't in it
What’s song playing before they walk on stage from the beginning?
Damn, dude, what a shame what happened to this band. They don't give a fuck about the old songs anymore, got no pleasure in playing them so why play them at all? This version of I Bet You Look Good was shameful to watch

pesimo concierto
Lamest version of dancefloor ever.
Oh my god this is awful. Bad concert. Only good song was Do I wanna Know, sad to say.
