Finally BACK in Gates of Hell with an absolute BANGER of a mod; Old Boy's Vietnam Commander mod. This not only introduces a system of command and control but also has you pick your own reinforcements, missions and of course does this all with that awesome Vietnam "flavour" inside Gates of Hell! ABOUT THIS GAME
Call to Arms - Gates of Hell: Ostfront is aimed to convey the realism that strategy players have always desired: Historically accurate visuals and locations, no simplifications, no shortcuts taken. Offering unrivalled immersion to give the most legitimate WWII RTS/RTT to date.
If you have long been waiting for a game that depicts the daring stories read in the books and you crave for a platform that allows you to recreate the battles you imagined from documentaries, then look no further: It is time to enter the Gates of Hell.
The DLC for Call to Arms features the Eastern Front and its “Great Patriotic War” fought between the USSR and Germany. This will take you from June 1941 until the end of the war in May 1945. The game will depict the evolution of the armies and technology during the most devastating conflict of human history.
All the maps and locations have been painstakingly recreated after thorough research from WWII documents combined with satellite and period photo-reconnaissance data.
Single Player missions are based on battle reports and veterans’ stories, delivering authenticity to the maximum extent possible.

Hi! My name is Samuel, what's up? I am 27 years old and live in Canada (I am Dutch though!). Thanks for checking out my channel. It's insane how much this mod changes about Gates of Hell, and it seems that multiple people are now picking up work to get the mod in a more stable/working order. Smaller bugs like reinforcements not working or enemies just straight up disappearing are going to be fixed (I think?:D) Anyway we do the final objectives needed to be prepared for the last day!

@@dogukan127 I know but since the mod is a work in progress I was wondering if they were trying to dig into the reference or not (the invisible guy for example, is he missing the model because they're working on a custom asset based on the film?) that's why I asked

Very cool, but why not put this mod on regular CTA? Is there a difference between the CTA engine and the GoH one? Or is the modding scene for CTA essentially dead?

mods are cool but not when they wont goddamn activate and there is no goddamn tutorial out there on how to fix this game not installing the mods from steam workshop
