Heyy..that is great!!did you nail it? I have no experience on BA,but planning to start my career.I am basically a techie.can you tell me where do i start from?
Thank you Jeremy! Very informative. I used to work as a business analyst for 3 years back until 2015 then worked as a flight attendant for 5 years, but now I really want to be back to that field noting I’m 33. Any advice will be much appreciated.
Hi Jeremy, Thanks for wonderful videos and guidance. I would like to know about CBAP certification. I am working as Business Analyst for 3 years fo I have to appear for entry level exam. Can I directly apply CBAP?
Great video! Thank you! What are some other prominent entry-level certificates in business analysis like the ECBA? I would appreciate it if you could mention a couple with the same value.
Hi Jeremy, I work as a BA. Was wondering if I did just your course on Udemy known as Business Analysis Fundamentals, would there be a good chance of passing the ECBA exam?
Thank you for this. I recently completed the Business Analysis certificate program from UC Irvine which has 12 credits and a total of 120 learning hours. I an currently preparing to take the PMI PBA, do you have any tips for me?
@@dandanmovies guys, check our the description for Jeremy's courses on Udemy, open the description in full and look for 'ECBA' with Ctrl+F. At least those several that I am taking at the moment have 3 or, 5 or 7 PD hours and it is stated in the course's descripion.
No, the IIBA BA certifications (ECBA, CCAP, CBAP) do not require any programming knowledge. Other than SQL, no programming knowledge is really necessary as a BA. R and Python come into play often when you are going for Business Analytics
I've got a whole degree in the subject (Info Sys and biz analysis). After two years still haven't been able to get a job whereas a total random HR person just raise a hand become one.. What a ridiculous field...
Hi Jeremy I found only two of your courses recognized in IIBA -Business Analysis Fundamentals -Identify and Define the Problem Just getting confused before purchasing all your courses on Udemy as you mentioned all your courses qualify for some hours of Professional Development. Can you confirm if all your courses on Udemy qualify for ECBA eligible PD hours ?
Other than interview prep and project management specific courses, yes, our courses can be applied towards the Professional Hours required to qualify for the ECBA exam. Here is the specific course list that qualify: - Business Analysis Fundamentals (9 hours) - Business Analysis: Identify & Define the Problem (3.5 hours) - Business Analysis: Conduct a Strategy Analysis (7 hours) - Business Analysis: Plan the Project (5.5 hours) - Understand and Elicit Requirements (5 hours) - Business Analysis: Essential Modeling Skills & Techniques (6 hours) - Process Mapping: The Practical Guide to Process Flowcharts (3.5 hours) - Process Modeling: Advanced Process Flowcharts (3 hours)
@@Thebaguide thanks for coming back jeremy. Need another clarity : I saw in one of your comments that 'conduct a strategy analysis:7 hrs ' is not being considered towards ECBA PDs hours ? Please confirm
Hi @Jeremy Aschenbrenner. Thank you for the great guidance ! I would like to clarify issue which would be interesting for many people. I am working as BA over 5 years and I am wondering can I directly apply for CBAP exam skipping the ECBA? Thanks in advance !
I'm glad the content is valuable and helpful for you. Yes, you can skip the ECBA and take the CBAP. There is no requirement to have the previous certification. There is a requirement, however, for a certain number of project hours and whatnot. You can learn more on the IIBA website - www.iiba.org/business-analysis-certifications/cbap/ Best of luck to you

Great and clear explanation. I'm going to take this test in a few month, it was good to see this at the time of preparation. Thank you.
Great, so I'm assuming I can use my MBA coursework in business analytics to satisfy the professional hours requirement. Thanks!
