    The dash is quite a nice colour in my view, a nice change from darker heat-attracting colours. The two-tone seating also reminds me of that from a Mark 2 Escort Sport, and the body colour of many classic Fords in general, very retro cool.

      This upper trim variant is an awful lot nicer than most of the models you come across, actually.

    Good Evening Sir, very nice example. The power steering button would have been found under Hazard Light switch when fitted 😊

      This was recorded over a month ago, sir, and so this one has unsurprisingly long been sold, but apart from the exhaust, it was pretty good!

    An excellent review on this Ka, I get the feeling this was not as popular as the previous generation, as most people may have went for the 500. Also never realised these had the 1.2 Fire Engine. Think i prefer the Ka to the 500 the interior looks more contemporary compared to the 500.

    • @lloydvehicleconsulting
      @lloydvehicleconsulting  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes sir, they are extremely similar to the 500 underneath, so lots and lots of Fiat parts, including the engine and transmission. The weather was terrible, but we persevered on anyway....

    I saw one of these exploded the other day Joseph lol a poor old man had to push his KA off the road all smoke coming from under the bonnet , the water pump had failed due to that 34c heat we had here near Bracknell , the funny thing is my old Mitsubishi is still working £600 paid for it 7 years ago , it is terrible to drive but reliable Also yeah the 1.2 engine is the same as in the Fiat 500 lol according to honest John this KA is built by Fiat at their Poland factory.

    • @lloydvehicleconsulting
      @lloydvehicleconsulting  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think we covered the Fiat 500 connection extensively in this review, including the fact that they were made in Poland.... Plenty out there for No Budget Reviews money, which means that the chap whose water pump failed the other day may end up having to scrap his car, sadly. They aren't too bad, really.

    Hello Joseph , I've never had the Pleasure to drive one yet , it would be interesting to give one ago. was the KA at the other end of the car park in the same colour a back up incase something when wrong ?

      No sir, that was just a happy coincidence on the day of filming! In Essex, Fords are absolutely everywhere...

    The Fiat 500 1.2 is a lovely little car.
    If the Ford Ka even cones close then I would buy one.
    Nice simple interior but the Fiat interior looks much better.
    Nice car, I am impressed.

      Yes, if anything these Ford Kas seem to be cheaper than the 500s from what I understand.

    Also if you want to improve 0-60 time for free on any car , remove rear seats and spare tyre and jack and while your at it remove the headrests and the sun visors and even the mats thats got to be 100kg gone lol i actually did that in my colt and the 0-60 went from 12 seconds down to 10.5 seconds problem is its too light now , gust of wind blows it around LOL

    • @lloydvehicleconsulting
      @lloydvehicleconsulting  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Or, you could just fit one of the larger engines the 500 had into this Ka, such as the 1.4 or 1.4 Turbo, although that would be quite a lot of work.

    Thank you for this video! 🙂 Spot the Fiat 500 lol. 2009 seems a long time ago. The last Kas seem unfairly ignored, they must have had some virtues if Fiat are still using it as a 500 template almost 15 years later!

    • @lloydvehicleconsulting
      @lloydvehicleconsulting  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The chassis of the 500 actually dates back over 20 years now, as it is the same as the Mark III and Mark IV Fiat Panda.

  • @rolandkovacs3936
    @rolandkovacs3936 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I would call them Fiat 500 light. On the other hand the ford version drives much better than the fiat because ford has tighten up everything on the suspension. In my opinion they are cute little ladybirds
