Good Morning Sir!! Probably the ultimate Marmite car. I actually tried to purchase a Nizmo in 2019, but decided in the end that the room in the back was too limited.
I like this car because it is different in looks to the endless rather bland competition. It's a bit weird. These days, that's refreshing. Thank you, sir!
These unexpected reviews are very good and useful. Just my opinion and someone’s experience of the earlier model…. Wet belt engine? Twin clutch automated transmission - bad. Did that say 34mpg average? That is poor….consider you can buy a new type Dacia jogger, 1.0 petrol-turbo (non hybrid version) which can do 50mpg average, real world as per Hub Nut review….a way bigger car. The rear of the car looks a lot better than the previous generation, shame they didn’t do similar to the front & the inside. ……. Someone at my work had the old version…it went for a few year w/out any faults at all…..and then it all went [costly] wrong. Everything related (EGR, dual mass flywheel, DPF) to the type of engine it had….you know, those other engines. Was going to cost so much, she sold it on, at a loss. Btw I don’t think she even did the number of miles to justify “that other type of engine”-but some people get it in their heads they need one. I think if anyone wants one of these, my advice would be, petrol, manual. Why you would want a car that looked like this, I’m not sure, but each to their own.
This one was genuinely last minute. There was another car I was going to film, but it was unavailable. The automatic gearbox in this really is not very good, I would stick with the manual. I don't really know why they sell so many, but it may genuinely be the looks, as it is different. The Seat Arona I filmed the same day was a much better car, in my opinion. I filmed a Dacia Jogger last summer (with the assistance of Mr Bill from the Fuel Power channel), and that was an incredibly successful video for the size of the channel. The specification was very similar to the one Ian Seabrook has recently tested, I believe, but it was the 1.6 Hybrid version. Have a look at that episode of Contingency Reviews to see what we thought. I have driven a previous generation Juke, sir, but we cannot discuss it here.
My work colleague has a 2023 one in blue.I think a 1.2. Suggested that she consoder the Toyota, Honda and Mazda equivilents but to no avail. She's had problems with the DRL lenses fracturing that Nissan isn't willing to sort out.
I think that these are fine, but the issue is the very strong competition, some of which I have tried fairly recently, such as the new KGM Tivoli, the Vauxhall Mokka and the Seat Arona. There are probably many others too, such as you have mentioned.
The first time a saw a Nissan Juke when it was released I thought it was so funky and so striking. As was the whole Nissan range at the time with the only sort of normal car being the Micra. The rear visibility and accommodation were quite terrible though and I went off them until I saw a Nismo Version and I think that that is super cool. This facelift model does seem to have addressed the rear seat deficiencies. I think I prefer the looks of the Ford Kuga though or even the Dacia Duster.
The Juke has always been quite a divisive car in terms of the way it looks, and that continues to this day. Mr Quirk from Planetauto and I have been comparing notes, as he has been testing a Juke this week (albeit the facelifted model). There is a more space in this F16 model compared with the F15, of that I am absolutely sure!
You mention the Renault Kaptur? Don’t know much. There’s one at work….. Sounds like a tank, because…..you know why 😂 Also, panel gaps…….yea, not the best 😮
I don't think the Juke sells well here it's overshadowed by the Rouge Joseph you do see them but you see a lot more Rouges on the road maybe they are a cheaper option good review best regards Andy Allen

Yes sir, tends to be that you either want one or you really don't. This one is better than the last version, though.

I mean, sir, it is different, I am just not sure that it is to my taste. Thank you again for watching and commenting!

Thank you for the video, sir.
You are very kind, sir! This was not my first choice to drive on the day, but nevertheless, it was useful to have a go in one.

Yes sir, the Renault Captur! I filmed one at the start of last year, and it was one of the most successful videos for 2023 for some reason...

Yes, the Rogue is called the X-Trail over here, and the Juke and Qashqai far outsell it. Thank you again for watching, sir!
