Thanks a lot for all the details on mounting, how you solve problems etc. I'm starting a XV920R project and it is really helpful. I liked and subscribed 😉.
Hi, I started the same project around 2 years ago, and I'm stuck mounting the tank. I have the same tank that you have, but I don't know how you found the position of 1st hole to put the front base of the tank. You did such a great job! And I'm afraid of damaging the chassis. I have followed you all my fabrication and it has been very helpful. Thanks for these videos.
Just have someone hold the tank where you want it, make a mark on the frame, and go for it! After drilling one side, I made a template using paper and a pencil so that I could lay it on the opposite side and mark the hole, ensuring they line up.
Love your videos but it would be really helpful if you could share where you get some of your parts your using. Like the $200 seat assembly. Fellow virago owner 😊
Hi, just found your channel. I’m doing a TR1 virago and ive been looking for a tank. Are you looking to sell that silver tank (option 1 in the video)? Thanks
Red tank and gold front end would give a nice Ironman kind and of look. Order of operations! Geometry of a circle! I did not sign up for a math lesson here, I'm on summer break
I love your chanel and this motorcycle is looking amazing, it is very inspiring for my new Project XV920 1982. Would you mind to share where can we buy the seat subframe?
If you're using two carbs still, you'll have to run new fuel lines from the carbs to a "T", then a single line from the "T" to the petcock. I'm using a single carb, so just one line will do.
It's a "Benelli Mojave" tank. Search for that on ebay and you'll find a bunch of different options. I just ordered the cheapest US seller that came with the petcock and cap.

Thanks for your fast reply! I just bought the 7/8 cup drill to do it. Are you going to make more videos of your motorcycle?
Not of the virago, sorry! I'm just trying to find enough time to ride it!

Do it right the first time…heard that before!
Where is a good place to look for parts for the Virago?
Google.
Does this subframe also fit on a xv950?
Nope, but the Yamaha Bolt looks really cool as is!
Where to get such black running boards?
sorry, the translation isn't clear. what are you looking for? feel free to email me at: contacttwocargarage@gmail.com
Hey what did you use for the fuel system connected to the tank? I got the two side petcock now this tank comes with only one.

@@two-cargarage yeah I’m still running 2 carbs got the idea but I also have the vacuum lines coming out from the carbs.
@@Ayadw7 those used to go to the petcocks, but now your new petcock will be manual so they are not needed. Just cap them off.
@@two-cargarage great thanks a lot 🙏🏼
can you send me a link for that tank?

If you put that between some bread and I’d eat that roast beast for lunch.
Tastes like.... Pie
10:41 "Socket head cap"? 😂
You have no idea what you are doing...do you?
Did you do any of the welding yourself?
...I don't understand your comment. Do you not realize that's what it's called? Google it...
