I have been watching all your massive journal flip throughs trying to get ideas on how to do it. I am obsessed with your journals and really want to make one of my own. Fabulous!!! I know you've said before in another video that you sew things on pages after you sew them in the books. Did you sew things on pages beforehand on this journal? I just ask because of the intricate details on some. I love everything you do. It definitely inspired me to step out of my creative comfort zone as well. I made a red journal like your poppy one because of you! It has 75 pages, but I just keep her on my shelf as decoration! LOL xXx Crystal
Aww, thank you! That's awesome! Most times, I sew on already built journals, unless I know I want to make it super decorated, then I sew on the pages before making it a journal. For these giant journals, it's way too awkward to try to sew after it's built, so I definitely do the sewing and decorating first on these.
Love your work! My question is; what kind of printer do you use for. your. kits? and how much ink do you use per journal? Do you have to replace your ink cartridges when you make one of these giants?
I used both! I like the look and sturdiness of the fabric, but then I didn't want all the pages to be on fabric because it would make the fold too thick, so I mixed it up with brown dyed paper.
I like Sam Poole's photo digitals like the ones you used, but all the others I find too muted. You get that impression? People seem to love them. I'm like ehhh. Even on presentation paper I'm not a huge fan. Those photo digitals tho!
Yeah the photos I bought from her are the only digital I'll probably ever buy. There are a lot of sellers I've only bought one kit that I really liked and didn't find anything else interesting.

@corriehanson1988 thank you! The way I hinge my papers is to use a 1 inch strip of paper and glue each page to it. Very simple!

@@francescascreations9601 I use the epson ecotank 4850. It uses bottles of ink, not cartridges. The ink lasts for about 200-300 prints.
