    I love everything about this journal. And I agree. I do not shop Ali express for that very reason. My friend Jen who is dreamzetc has had her artwork stolen numerous times. Thank you for being so upfront and honest. And thank you for the mention. I appreciate it

    I loved your journal. I'm a wannabee JJ maker - have watched numerous videos and collected masses of stuff, but not actually taken the plunge yet. It was a pleasant change to hear you give credit to others, if you had used their ideas and also that you broached the subject of the copyright violations on so many of those cheap sites selling out of the Far East. I have subscribed to your channel and will look for your other videos.

      Aw you are so sweet! I bet you know enough right now to make one in that case! You will love it when you make use of all your treasured finds! ❤️🌻🦋

    I have loved listening and watching this today. I think it is wonderful to use the old photo’s. These people are being loved and cared for in our journals. How special is that. I would love to do Nik’s book binding course. I was cutting out mini books to make. I first got some from Nik. There is even a video on my youtube. She got me hooked lol. Looking forward to seeing more video’s. Hugs xxx

    What a truly delightful project. A surprising hidden gem discovered after every page turn. I am blown away by the way you seem to have effortlessly known the perfect addition for each page and still left room for journaling!!! You are a true artist, I think it may be the best junk journal I have ever seen. I loved the way you did this video and your honesty was such a breath of fresh air. Did this demo take 25 minutes? It only seemed like 2 ....., over much too soon. Really looking forward to more videos like this. Loved the period photos...perfect for this journal and where they were added. Thank you so much. 🏆 🎈

    wow this is such a beauty. Thank you for inspiring me 👍✌️🙏❤️💜✨ Nik the booksmith was the first jj channel i ever discovered and subscribed too, she’s a magician with paper and the meticulous way she sometimes makes things is so magical. You’re amazing also 🙏💜

    Beautiful journal! I’m not a fan of glossy papers and ephemera.... covering them in matte medium knocks it back and helps it look and feel more vintage. Sam ❤️

      Thank you so much for watching! I would love to know where you find your vintage ephemera! Anything I find up here is very expensive.

      Go for it! You can do it for sure. There are no rules. I do plan on doing some process videos soon but in the meantime there so many videos you can choose from here on TH-cam to give you some great ideas 🌻🌻🌻

    Love your journal really love the colours. I agree with leaving some of the pages blank as those papers are gorgeous. Yes I've only learnt about the theft of art designs. I was scrolling through etsy and saw Edith Holden diary tags for sale. My understanding is you can't sell because of copyright. I recently bought the diary of an Edwardian lady. If i use it in a journal, it will be for myself. Thanks for sharing...xxx

    • @AgnesRubyStudio
      @AgnesRubyStudio  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thank you so much! I could be wrong but I am pretty sure you can use book pages as part of the journal but just not copy to mass produce. Eg if I use a Edith Holden page as a journal page or collage with it it’s ok. But I wouldn’t be able to copy any part of that page to mass produce or make digi kits.

      Thanks, that makes it clearer. I'm fairly new to this, and copyright is a bit of a grey area. xx

    Funny but I'm sure one of those old photos is one mum has of one of our relatives. I wonder where Tim got the photos from? Hello from Australia 🇦🇺. Our family came from UK...
