- The Christmas Maze continues and today our team must test their skill in one of Robert S Pearson's all-time favourite games - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim! Can they hold their nerve and earn themselves another crystal? Or will they fall foul of Skyrim's treacherous wilds?

I really appreciate that you guys do this every year.
You’re one of the only gaming channels that puts on such an elaborate Christmas program every year and it’s honestly so much fun to watch.

I JUST rewatched the Nathan the Christmas Elf series, so the fact that Dave initially took the wrong turn at that SAME BRIDGE was just too much 😂
I rewatch it every year and I was screaming when Dave made the exact same mistake as Nathan and they both even did it in last year's Christmas Maze as well.
By now I feel like they are doing it on purpose 😂

It took 6 years, but they've finally done it! Getting to Solitude without fast travel.
I didn't know Ash and Dave being a married couple looking for a parking spot in a crowded mall lot was the screaming match I needed, but my god there it is.
And so help me if there is no I AM AWARE OF THE SITUATION shirts or mugs made, we riot. I love all of you, you beautiful peeps.

LOL i love how you could clearly hear them shouting while Rob filmed his bit with Delsin in the other room. Like clearly hear them, loudly. Literally definition of not asking for directions and arguing on a trip together. Rosie and Rob just along for the ride in the back
I can't believe Dave went right at the bridge AGAIN! If the weather had been cloudy, I dont think they would have found Solitude! But they did it, well done team!

This is why I love The Christmas Maze. You all have such fantastic chemistry and it really shows during these challenges.
Thanks, this lifelong quest for Solitude has been amazing, and the best part is that we the viewers have always been aware of the situation.

This was amazing and the end where she asked are we still friends and he gave her the "Of course" look was awesome! Friends can get all loud with each other and still have a good time lol! Can't wait for the next episode!!

I love that the 'I will have this done' clip from the title sequence is still related to the 'I'm the Elf' clip from before, Solitude bringing us together.
Ash should lend her voice to a gps sytem. "go on the path!! this isnt it, go around it!! not your left my left!! wait I mean my right!!" XD
Thank you Robert S. Pearson, I needed to see Dave or Nath get to Solitude. Although there was a minute there I thought it wasn't going to happen. Last year Dave mentioned he knew to go over the bridge where Nath went wrong (on two occasions!), the problem was Dave got lost before making it that far. So this time when he finally got on the correct path I thought he's got this in the bag now but when he got to bridge he went the wrong away again! I actually screamed out "NOOOOOOO DAVE!!!". Add to that Ash didn't know what Solitude looked like and was trying to guide him away (she must have got mixed up with Winterhold or Windhelm). Fortunately, thanks to their escapades earlier on, Dave learned to take no notice of Ash lol. To be fair though, Ash was the only one that remembered they needed to go left over the bridge. Skyrim challenges are always the best.
When they cut to Robs face when the team was fighting with Dave, I was eating cereal. That was such a funny 'I'm enjoying the chaos of their wasting time' I actually spit up my cereal it made me laugh so hard.
Life's been hitting me hard recently, and lots of crappy situations pile on top of each other. You guys have been a brilliant distraction. Thank you to all they guys and gals involved with Access.
can I just say how much I love this series? Robert S Pierson is my favourite. I can't wait for more. gotta watch them all.

I love when the christmas maze rolls around. The days leading up to Christmas always feel highly stressful and it helps to know I can detach for a set time just to watch these.
The last challenge was pure channel nostalgia and a fitting bit of chaos! 😂
It's honestly amazing that it was Dave who got the compass and he got it last as well. The playstation gods orchestrated this event.
You say that. I think it's quite possible Rob added each item at the time to the box whilst the challenges went on.
@@Wallij15I’m not sure about the other challenges, but I absolutely think that’s the case for the last one. Rob was shown playing with the box during the frostbite challenge
@@brianklosterman461 Yeah I don't mean to ruin the magic for anyone but some of these challenges the great epic moments are definitely a little bit orchestrated. It's still wonderful! Like the Spyro challenge last year, if I recall he gave them more time and Rosie clutched it. Such an epic moment.
Yeah this was amazing that Dave got another chance at that challenge and it was indeed found lol great show so far everybody and can’t wait for the next episode ❤

I love the absolute panic & chaos when Dave was trying to get to Solitude xd. Way more eventful than when I beat last year's challenge by using only the road signs
Ash and Dave at each others' throats and Rosie is laughing so much she's hyperventilating... 'Tis the season ;)
I’m a day behind watching these but can I just say how I love that the calm and fairly competent gameplay at the start of this challenge has devolved into the most hilarious chaos by 35 mins in? Top viewing!
Now this was a real treat. How many decisions (accidental) lead to the ultimate quest to Solitude for Dave. I can not believe Dave almost screw up again at the same place like always. Congratulations on finally reaching the destination 🎉
Seeing Skyrim being played now is quite different from when I saw it being played some time ago for a Christmas challenge.
Immediately down the hill after Rosie’s bit and Dave goes off and does his own thing 😂 There was a signpost on that path and he just went into the fields.
Press R1 to kill is another great saying from this series this year.
I feel like a big part of this channel's history has finally been resolved and laid to rest with this challenge! I'm proud to have been here to witness it from beginning to end!

I can’t believe Dave went right again at the bridge. 😂😂😂 I think a day of team building on getting from White Run to Solitude is in order because that’s 3 times now between Nath and Dave that they went the wrong way at the exact same bridge and Solitude was right there. Truly wild stuff. There’s even a broken down wagon there as a landmark! 😂 You think Dave might have thought “let me practice this just in case we have to do it again this year.” Nope. Glad he found it in the end. Still a strange and arduous journey though. I seriously thought he was headed to Dawnstar for a minute.

The only problem is that in the first couple of minutes you know that the challenge has been done without even wondering as they have one hour to do the challenge but the video is only about 45 minutes long. It's been fun to watch though so far!

I still think Nath is right in saying that it is impossible to find Solitude by following only Skyrim's road signs. Dave only found it because he was following GP-Ash.
