This is one of the finest videos of 2102 I've seen. Well done.

Thank you for watching hawkeyetherailfan your comment means a real lot.. Greetings trackside along the Reading & Northern Railway. I try, this was a totally new chase lots of unknowns, some areas I wanted to get drone shots but was unable to do so do to DJI geofencing although I already had FAA LAANC approval.. Other spots I tried it was too crowded I decided not to stay at Tunkhannock as the traffic on Rt 6 was insane. Only two other spots that I wished I could have been better were at Pittston Yard and White Haven.. First at Pittston yard/station really this is out of my control. For the drones, there were about three in the air at the time besides mine, but all the drones were getting attacked by some sort of small nesting birds in the area they were really getting upset. I would have liked to fly just a little further away at Pittston to get a better angle but I decided to just keep the drone close to the wig-wag crossing as those birdies didn't seem to be as upset near the crossing. Finally at White Haven, I wanted to get a drone shot of the train passing the Library which is an old roundhouse but that train snuck right up on me only had time to hit record on the camcorder & not enough time to deploy the drone. Besides that, the train itself, was a really hot day but overall a great day.
      Thank you again 🚂

Thank you for watching Larry greetings from Walt Disney World, I meant to say the Reading Blue Mountain & Northern Railroad... Boy of boy it was a hot day here in Pennsylvania around 95 ℉ the worst part is the East Coast humidity but who cares this was totally worth it... Just some chaos in some areas altogether I think around 300 railfan chasers for this train on small winding mountain roads trying to get to the next spot added nothing but fun & excitement to the equation..

Awesome! I'd noticed a few recent videos of 2102 popping up in my recommended videos, so I was wondering if you'd be catching up with her soon. Great footage as always, Adam! (And nice to see RBM&N has finally spiffed up the paint on those coaches!)

Thank you for watching Benjamin yup this was the first time ever that 2102 went this far north on the Reading & Northern RR... Yup I had to go see and chase this train. As for those coaches yup Reading & Northern is doing a good job keeping the cars looking good as they have been able to get around to it.

Thank you for watching Big Tee Tea-Vea yup I was there too but decided to leave when I first got there maybe 20 people were there, but that quickly wound up to 100+ people Penobscot not safe for flying the drone. I was constantly moving finding less crowded spots..

Thank you for watching David, likewise / same here was greeting talking with you as well.. Always good meeting up with other railfans while not directly in video or photo mode "waiting for the train".. In this hobby, while it has its ups and downs, the community is strong and mostly supportive of each other. 🚂

Oh wow, Adam you out-did yoursel on this one and I mean that sincerely!
Everyone, if you watch this take my advice and go full-screen, you'll miss things if you don't!
Just a few questions. The "Five Minute Whistle Warning." Was that legit? And the "steam" in the image, was that for real or did you have a helper puffing furiously on a cigar? 🤣
I couldn't help but notice the R&N diesels in one sequence, I'm assuming 2102 needed an assist on that part of the run?
Those vintage swinging signals are a gas! I didn't think there were any around anymore but it figures if anyone would have them the R&N would!
    The Raptor work was incredible!
Thanks fo much for posting, it made my morning!

Thank you Wayne greetings from a Wonderful railroad the Reading Blue Mountain & Northern Railroad...
Yes, that 5-minute warning whistle is legit.. Reading & Northern blasts that whistle like that, to tell everyone that the train is leaving on time and won't stick around for anyone late who still needs to board. Wish I got the scanner transmission talk just before the Whistle.
Yeah that smoke effect during the whistle sequence is an effect I downloaded off the net..
The diesels were put on for the descent downhill / grade from Penobscot to Pittston for dynamic braking purposes.
Those Wig-Wag signals I know some still exist way out in California on some branch lines etc, but mostly restored ones now work in museums, but railroads such as Reading & Northern Mr. Andy Muller Jr. likes to add historic railroad memorabilia/equipment all throughout his railroad. Making his modern railroad operation taking a step back in time just making the railroad that much cooler. The wigwags were recently acquired by Andy I think they came from Wisconsin or close to there, he had his signal dept do full restorations on them cosmetically and mechanically.
Yup, the raptor was put to work and did a great job for how hot it was and how chaotic things were with around 300+ people railfanning / chasing the train throughout the day.

@@LibertyRailfan Thanks for all that Adam! Diesel helpers for going downhill? Now that's a new one on me! I'd think they could control the trains downhill speed by use of the train braking system but what do I know? They're the experts!
