Now I want one. Or a Brera with that engine. Or maybe a Spider ❤
I just bought one, and I rlly like your Steering wheel I'd like to do a remake fir mine
Klasse! Ich fahre selbst seit 16 Jahren einen roten Alfa Romeo 159 Diesel. Euer Motorensound ist natürlich weitaus besser!
Amazing car
Well, you have a nice car and I love the 159 Series with its brutal frontlook. But the difference between my car and yours is, that I don't need to open the door to hear the engine ;-) Don't take my comment too serious, I am just teasing you a little bit. Your car sounds amazing for a 4C and it has a hell ton of power.
must be driving an electric vehicle 😭🤣
It looks amazing ! I consider myself buying a 159 sw Tbi. I found one with a bit of mileage (185k km). Did you have any issues with the engine, or the m32 gearbox ? And do you have any advice on things to look at before buying one ? Thanks a lot
Hello Sir! The 159 is a lovely car and the Tbi is also a good choice! 185 km is a lot :). But hey, it depends how the owner drove that beauty.
My engine never had any problems - neither the gearbox had.
I would look for things like: Is it still the first turbo? Is the timing belt changed properly every 5 years? Take a look at the springs and the suspension - the shock absorber sometimes get rusty and break. Are the wishbones ok? Are there any oil leaks? Water under the carpets - the 159 had some water problems...
That should be the most important things I guess...If you have questions don't hesitate
@@serpentcrown Thanks for the advice man!

Hey iam thinking of finishing the stearing wheel like yours.how is the alcantara holding up?you need to clean it a lot ?
Hi it’s absolutely fine
Alfa need a serious sport muffler. SuperSprint or CSC without catalyst
Hi there, Serpent! Which exhaust is it?? Sounds great...Novitec? Ragazzon?? Ty! ;-)
Hi there !the exhaust is custom made at Wimmer Rennsport Solingen Germany
What modifications you have there? I absolutly love this car❤, that "beast" front, that sporty interior. I would like to buy some, but the one i'm looking on has a broken turbo, is it a big problem? Hope your still drives whitout problems.
(Sorry for my english, i'm from Czech Republic)
Hi there! Thanks a lot. I already sold that Alfa 159. The Front Spoiler is from Novitec, I got an remap and full exhaust + sport downpipes.
I would be careful if you have an car with an broken turbo - get some details about how the turbo is broken - you must check, if there are no metal parts from the broken turbo somewhere around the engine. If not just get a ne turbo no problem
@@serpentcrown thank fór answear, And thanks for tip about turbo, Is there any other thinks i should check? Some typical problems? I heard some tip about oils, that alfa needs ONLY Selenia, Is that true? Your car was really amazing.
@@filiphavlik1995 typical problem is rust underneath, Broken springs or dampers… check if they are old, sometimes they break. Check for moisture under floor carpets.
I would recommend oil change every 10.000 km or even every year. You don’t have to use selenia - that’s just expensive oil …I always used liquid moly 5w40.
And last thing of course: always warm up and cool down
@@serpentcrown i do on my Car oil change max in 10k km So IT might not be problem, And warm up And cool down Is also thing i do on my car. I really love Cars, So i treat them like my kids. Thank for your tips, tricks And recommendations.
@@serpentcrown everybody tells me that im crazy, cause i want Alfa Romeo, they say that IT's a peace of crap but i said them this: „You can go for a ride with every car but not every car goes like Alfa Romeo.“
Hi Serpent, I just found your channels and I love your videos.
I just moved to Germany and I want to buy a 159/brera here, can you give me tips on what i should buy?
2.4jtd 200/210hp, tbi or 3.2 v6?
I had a 156 jtd back home and i drove a 2.4 jtdm 159 for a few months, great cars
Hi there! Nice to hear ! If you ask me about the engine it depends on what you prefer?
You are looking for an everyday car - take the 159 with Tbi oder the 1.9 jtd- these engines are reliable and got enough power.
If you want a good weather car - take the brera.
I wouldn’t go for the 3.2 as an everyday car.
If you want a good model - look out for the Ti models
It depends, if you are ready for some maintainance get the tbi. It has some issues with the 1 series that can be a bit costly but its a very nice engine and the only one made and designed in by alfa.
The 2.4 is very good but id choose the 5cil 210cv cause the other one has known problems. If you find it with the q4 system even better.
The 3.2 jtd is a sacrifice altar, you have to sacrifice your wallet each month cause it has lots of problems.
If you have the budget for the 3.2 id suggest you the alfa romeo gt 3.2 BUSSO, that one is really gorgeous and being the last alfa with busso engine it will probably have a significant growth in price with time
I had one Best Car which i have ever!
If choose btw 2.4d and tbi for everyday using and reliability what you advice
I would advise you to take the tbi. I heard from many problems with the 2.4 when you are driving in the city. If you do a lot of highway driving - long trips than I would say the 2.4. But for everyday definitely the tbi
@@serpentcrown thanks for your help. Wish you an exelent day
Alfa 159 with this engine is my dream car! unfortunately, there is not one for sale in my country :( I hope it will appear soon... I'm only interested in one thing, how much is the gas consumption in city driving?
Hi there ! Wish you good luck for finding one of these. City driving between 11-12 liters per 100 km
@@serpentcrown I hope too! I can't wait to sit down and drive the Alfa again🥰🐍🍀
@@serpentcrown. I bought 😍 i have one more question, which oil do you recommend?
@@milossmiljanski9547 congratulations! you bought a Tbi? wich specs? I prefer Selenia, or if you want it cheaper Liquy Molly. 5W40
@@serpentcrown tnx😊 tbi ti,full black, the interior is the same as yours,i bought liqui moly 5w40,thanks for the recommendation🍀
Hi - Is the steering wheel custom made or can it be bought off the shelf?
Hey, it it custom made
Great job!
I saw one of your video with white Alfa 159 - "Alfa Romeo 159 Devil Eyes", and the front spoiler is looking fantastic. Can you tell me where did you buy it. It looks like it is not a Maxton design lip.
Hi, it’s the Novitec front. It is a complete front. You can find it at squadra sportiva
@@serpentcrown THX a lot!
