Pool was looking great today.
Free Chlorine - .2 PPM
Total Chlorine - .2 PPM
That's enough. I checked on the tablet and not much of it had dissolved. This generally means the pool isn't getting proper circulation and the filter is typically the culprit.
PH - 8.0
PH was high today possibly from the fill water. I added 4 cups of acid to bring it back down.
Total Alkalinity - 70 PPM
That's good.
Calcium Hardness - 300 PPM
Given the temperature, PH and Total Alkalinity, the overall saturation index (water balance indicator) is -.2 ; This is more to the "corrosive" side, but given the amount of calcium scale on the spill over and spa tile -.2 is what I want.
Borate - 50 PPM
This is a bit lower than it was last time I tested it. The pool may have a leak or is being over filled. Probably getting over filled.
