Our 1969 California Highway Patrol Suburban, The Unit, is finally put to the test. The Unit is a beast, four wheel drive, patina, and a beefy PTO winch on that hefty bumper are ready to pull out just about anything. We bought the Unit and got her back on the road again about 2 months ago. This Suburban has a HUGE story. It's 1 of 3 purchase by the CHP new in 1969. THIS IS THE ONLY ONE LEFT! We are here to show the Unit to the world and tell its story!

@@driveway_finds Cool. I have a 350 in my '71 GMC Jimmy. V8-350/SM465/NP205/12-Bolt 3.73 posi. My '67 K/10 Suburban had a V8 - 454/TH350/NP205/12-Bolt 3.73 Posi. Thinking about a '63 L6 - 292 in the Sub when I rebuild it.
