We hope you are all okay and we are happy that you have tuned in to the 4th episode :)
Join us in this video as we attempt to carry on the 5 day Marangu Route to the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro. This is day 4 where we will be trekking from Kibo Huts (4,720m) all the way up to the summit aka Uhuru Peak (5,895m).
Summit Night:
Day 4 | Marangu Route Stats
Miles = 7.10
Kilometres = 11.4
Elevation Gain = 3,960ft | 1,207m
Elapsed Trekking Hours = 9 Hours 50 Minutes
Moving Trekking Hours = 4 Hours 40 Minutes
Difficulty = 11/10
Descent From Kibo Huts to Horombo Huts:

Miles = 6.3
Kilometres = 10.1
Elevation Loss = 3,326ft | 1,013m
Elapsed Trekking Hours = 3 Hours
Moving Trekking Hours = 2 Hours 30 Minutes
Difficulty = 8/10
Day 5 | Marangu Route Stats
Miles = 12.57
Kilometres = 20.2
Elevation Loss = 5,699ft | 1,737m
Elapsed Trekking Hours = 5 Hours 10 Minutes
Moving Trekking Hours = 4 Hours 40 Minutes
Difficulty = 9/10
TOTAL Marangu Route Stats
Days = 5
Miles = 45.37
Kilometres = 73
Elevation Gain = 12,952ft | 3,947m
Elapsed Trekking Hours = 33
Moving Trekking Hours = 23
