Thank you for a beautiful video. We've been to Red Kite and the dam and your video brought back such happy memories. Take care both and keep the videos coming. All the very best. Vanessa & Colin Wells
Enjoying you Mid Wales adventures so far. I used to visit Llanidloes at least 4 times a year on business for 15 years and as I had appointments to keep have never seen beyond the main street with the old market hall. Thanks for the tour, always seemed a very quiet town.
Wow looks so lovely, I hope it cooled down eventually, as I know how stifling the weather 2as for myself. Its raining here today in Chichester, so nice & cool. Lovely little villages where you are & glad you got your bike fixed Bob. Nice & restful for you too jenny, have a lovely time , lots of love Linda xx ❤
Llani the nearest town to where my mother was born and raised, its been a couple of years since I was back there, but Llani doesnt change much..... nostalgic for me, great vid.
Great video folks. I moved here a few years back and it's made me see llani from a tourists point of view again rather than just becoming a local. You was right about that being the old lead mines at the bottom of the dam. Also you can take your dog in there as it's just ruins, basically exactly what you see from the dam.
Had a static caravan just up the road from Llani for some years, great area and town. From your footage you missed the main forest area which is very interesting. Bought back some memories.
Very enjoyable. We have had glorious motorhome weather this summer and what a treat after all the Welsh restrictions. We will definitely return now that everything is open again. You have reminded us of what a beautiful country it is. 😃 Trev n Sue
We stayed at the Red kite touring park around a month or so ago when the temperatures hit 40 degrees. Visited the dam cafe on a Sunday and it was closed.(pre school holidays) We returned the same afternoon with a picnic and spent three and half hours on the picnic bench opposite where you parked. Too warm to move. Idyllic!
Hi Bob & Jenny, Poppy, just catching up. When you showed the methodist church it reminded me of when we used to go to Sunday School. I have turned into a crazy cat lady omg lol, always had dogs never had a cat now i help the cat protection round here with feeding the stray abandoned cats that can not be rehomed, the nueter them then bring them back.
Loved this one Bob, the site looks immaculate and the little town and scenery (wow) was amazing, the shot’s of that water in the reservoir were beautiful. The colour’s in the valley’s were all so blue and green, really lovely. Well done on another great show.
We visited the dam on the 17th August from the Red Kite site but we walked and yes it was very hilly, it was about 1 hour 20 mins each way, good job it was not hot like you had it.
We had a lovely trip down to South Wales from Shropshire a few weeks ago, we found a Stunning area called Llyn Brianne it really is worth going through a beautiful resivoir there, if you get chance really is a beautiful place.
We really liked the campsite when we stayed a few years back. The views at the dam and looking over the reservoir are spectacular. Thanks for the tour 👍😀
This was one of my favourite videos from you. I never knew how lovely central Wales was and I regret never having been there so your trip is like a holiday for us too. Really looking forward to the rest of your trip. My Grandmother was born and raised in a tiny place called Garthbeibio. She couldn't speak English until she was 18 Sadly she passed away when I was young so I never got the chance to ask her about life in Wales and maybe learn a little of the Welsh language. Hi Bob, Thanks for the great vids. Don,t know if your aware but I have just been doing some research on the Friddo d4s and it appears that because it has a throttle it is not technically legal in the uk.or have I got this wrong.
I'm aware of this, I have contacted Fiido and their response was that "the throttle is optional and can be disconnected". I will be mentioned this in my review video. The throttle is allowed if it was only able to power the bike to 6km/hr or walking speed, but this is not the case.
Enjoyable video thanks Bob and Jenny and poppy 👍☀️
How beautiful this area is , never been but would love to visit now . Thanks once again Bob and Jenny xx

It's always interesting to go back to a place you used to live and see it with tourist's eyes.
Very enjoyable 👍 nice site too we must give it a try in our caravan.. kind regards Glyn
It’s a beautiful place .
Lovely countryside, fantástico scenery!!!
Thank you both, had a terrific holiday on a farm near there in the spring of 1980, your tour brought back so many happy memories. Take care.

@@BobEarnshawMoHo looking at the weather, you probably have done the right thing 🤣
All the best 👍
I didn't know there were ospreys in this part of Wales, my all time favourite raptor! 👍
Had a static caravan just up the road from Llani for some years, great area and town.

Do you mean the Hafren Forest?
Very enjoyable. We have had glorious motorhome weather this summer and what a treat after all the Welsh restrictions. We will definitely return now that everything is open again. You have reminded us of what a beautiful country it is. 😃 Trev n Sue

It's good that you help the cats.
What a beautiful little town and the scenery around the dam was absolutely stunning. Thank you for sharing.

Great insight 👍.. after watching your vlog, we went to the old iron works and dam the very next day..
Amazing place, thank you
Hi Bob & Jenny thanks for really interesting video, lovely scenery, Wales is amazing for landscape photography 👍
Yes, the good weather helped.
Lovely video, thanks
I've lived here all my life still one or two places I need to explore!
It was beautiful there.
We visited the dam on the 17th August from the Red Kite site but we walked and yes it was very hilly, it was about 1 hour 20 mins each way, good job it was not hot like you had it.
Well done, not sure we could have made that, even without the heat!
We had a lovely trip down to South Wales from Shropshire a few weeks ago, we found a Stunning area called Llyn Brianne it really is worth going through a beautiful resivoir there, if you get chance really is a beautiful place.
