@@XDIY no, I have a rolling laptop case with upright wheel, to which I am wondering if I could replace the existing wheels with a spinner/360 wheels for greater mobility & stability? I came to TH-cam looking for this and it was the first video I found. I realized I could release my old wheels by hacksawing only the outboard side of the rivet, and now they’re off. Rest of the suitcase is in great condition, glad this can be fixed.

Would have been easier to get the axle out had you cut through it on the outer side of the wheel. Great video. No heads or shoulders in the way, perfect close ups, perfect lighting, no shots of banana fingers fumbling in darkness. just clarity all around. No lengthy descriptions of what a wheel is or demonstrations of how a wheel turns around. No side track to show how the bend in and allen key is very useful. Just an all out, very very helpful video. Can't wait to get my hacksaw out. Thank you so much.

Thanks for sharing. Seems it can be done easier with some of the suitcases which only require unscrewing instead of sawing off the broken wheel. Saying that, its not $10 replacement - its $10 (or more, depending on type) plus about 2 hours or more of time searching for right wheels, measuring, getting right tools, put it all in place, etc. Which for most people would be worth more than $100 it would cost to just buy a new suitcase (and it will be new). So... unless you simply find it entertaining and enjoyable sawing off wheels or earn less than $20/hr...

      Thanks for the comment :)
I understand what you mean but this is a DIY channel... you can say the same about each project or fix that I share.
For each DIY project that I do (if it's fixing a leak or building a storage room), I start with research for the best solution, I need to buy materials, to work few hours or days. Of course that not always it's pays off in time, but there is great satisfaction in doing that.
BTW, Initially I didn't plan to to record this luggage fix, and later I thought if I should publish it on my channel... I thought that it's not related to the other things I share / too easy...
Eventually, it became the second most viewed video with views approaching 300K which I never expected, so it turns out that people search for it and that's what matters, that it helps some viewers :)

It is a beautiful video for what it is. I don’t own most of those tools. And I need to either watch it over, or need someone to walk me through. We don’t all have the same skills. I’m sure for people who fo repairs and have a workshop or do other repairs, this must be a great video to watch and do. It’s ok; you are providing awesome video approach for an audience that is not a beginner level. (I can cook the way you can repair. Haha.)

I didn't find this helpful at all. Some verbal explanation of what's being done and why, and not showing things at 10x normal speed that we need to look at carefully and understand would have made this much better. As it is, it didn't help me at all.

I'm sorry that you didn't find it helpful...
I think that the process in the video is pretty simple. Does it matter if I'm cutting with the saw in regular speed or X10? Some parts are shown much more slower, where I show some important steps.
Anyway, I respect every comment and try to learn for the next videos. Thank you.
