There's a blizzard outside right now, and watching the snow fall while listening to this is so pleasant ☺
Thank you, Tanaboon. As a British expat in tropical Thailand I haven't seen snow for around 15 years. Expats abroad often say they miss the changing seasons. My 6-year-old daughter Emilie dreams about snow, as seen in movies and picture books, and often asks what snow feels like. Take care!
@@PaulBartonPiano Thank you for all of your uploads! I'm originally from Chiang Mai, and seeing your videos with the animals gives me fond memories of home. I haven't been back in 12 years. I'm glad to still experience Thailand through your channel :)
It is snowing here to I love listening to this when I am watching the snow fall to. Paul is this a pice you played for the Elephants.☺️th-cam.com/video/5UkUs_rgN3I/w-d-xo.html
thats what Im thinking when I heard this piece haha. im just imagining it cause we dont have snow in our country haha
Try winter wind by chopin. Etude op 25 no. 11
Who the F%@K would hit dislike. The disrespect! This gentleman has such a humble and tireless attitude to music, I've admired him ever since I watched the first video from him. Always delivers an outstanding performance. Thank you, thank you, thank you! You bring joy to thousands of people every day. You also inspired me to purchase a piano and get back to music.
The purists who think music is hard and fast, and not like flowing water.
I don't know who you are but thank you so much for your kind words, I truly appreciate it. If I was able to encourage you with the piano I can't say just how much this means to me. Take care!
Those who have disliked are probably jealous (haters lol)
@@PaulBartonPiano yes sir I was doing keyboard but you got me through Astorias and love for classical. You are my virtual professor❤️❤️🙏🙏
Breathtaking tempi brilliantly executed! You are a genuine virtuoso, Paul!
16ths with the right. Triplets with the left. Amazing! Love this piece!
this has always been my favorite piece and you play it so beautifully:)
So beautiful, both visually and with eyes closed, makes me cry tear of happiness! Thank you!
I've always absolutely loved this piece. Chopin was so amazing at virtuosity but also capturing the mood. Very well done!
A gifted pianist and a gifted painter/artist! Paul, you are very blessed to be able to bring such beauty into the world.
beautiful performance dear Paul, wonderful piano music.👍
This has brought me to tears 🌷just so beautiful 🕊🤍🤍
Beautiful comfortable music of course struck me perfect Favorite atmosphere, thank you so much 🙌
Beautiful! Thank you for sharing 👍
This is so beautiful. You are very talented !!
Gorgeous performance!
One of my favorites. There's a feeling that you are able to evoke of the keys and it's spectacular :-)
Beautiful and so well played! Thank you so much for all you wonderful playing, alone and with your daughter, it has brought so much joy to us, and your tutorials are a great study help for myself.
I also especially enjoy all the parts where one can glimpse the fact that you dont live in England :-) I myself have lived in Brasil as a child and later in Australia for 20 years, love the subtropics, but now an Expat in Iceland where there is more snow this winter than one may want :-).
Keep sending your beautiful music and thanks again! 😊
It must be really satisfying rediscovering pieces on such a great new piano. Impressive playing as always!
Always knew you were a great pianist but I haven't seen you play like this in a new upload in a while. I'd say you've still improved!
One of the few times I’ve listen to the whole song and not grown bored of it in the first 30 sec. Bravo!
Simply, I loved it, I think you have reached the truly sense of this piece; cleanliness but deepness. Congratulations, from E.C- Manta.
Such a perfect video for me trying to learn the piece! Thank you!
Absolutely beautiful
Wow, Paul Barton you're very Professional in the Piano. Amazing Music!!!.
Excited to hear Chopin on your channel. I'd *love* to hear your interpretation of Berceuse. I have a feeling it would be in good hands.
EXCELLENT, Paul! Love Op. 66.
I very much appreciate you are showing the actual notes list instead of those falling blocks most other people use...
I've never seen someone play it so cleanly or in time. Wow
Beautiful!! Thank you.
Bravo Paul, i love Chopin.
Congratulations from México.
Beautiful! Thank you♥
BRAVO !
Nah man, in my opinion Paul Barton is the greatest performer here on TH-cam.
go check out traum
Gracias Maestro una maravilla !!

Bravo 🎹👏
Favolosa esecuzione!!!! Grande
amazing tempo
Great interpretation teacher👍🏻
OHHHHH. I have to learn to play that some day. Too much fun.
Great as always, Mr. Barton
...love that you're letting us see the score as you play 🎼
Agreed, I don’t have a keyboard or piano yet, but when I can get one this visual aid will be so useful! 👍🏻
this is helping me a lot... thanks
Great performance!
I'm going to start working on this because of you!
Thank you Paul. I loved the split with the sheet music, it gives me a deeper understanding of the music. Plus it confirmed a mistake with my version of the piece. 👌
did you know there are actually multiple different versions of this piece?
One of my favorites. There are so many memories attached to this piece, both good and bad. When I first heard this I was just a small child. I think I heard it in TV. I've wanted to learn play musical instruments for years, but I have absolutely zero talent with music.
Give it a try I started learning 6 months ago at 15 years old
Don’t say that, you can achieve this if you really want to just put in the hard work, believe in yourself and have a positive mindset.
I am 53 and I have been taking piano lessons and practicing for almost 7 years now. A piece that would take me 2 months to learn would have taken my daughter probably less than a week. But it doesn’t matter! Life is so much more enjoyable now with music, or more precisely, with the unrelenting effort of trying to make music! :)
@@lambertch good on you!
Just give it a go.....you might surprise yourself!
Peaceful melody
Спасибо! Очень красиво, великолепное исполнение 👌
Bravissimo!!!👏👏👊 Super!!!👍👍👍 I very like this fantasy!!!💞🌷💞🌷💞🌷💞

Que buena coordinación!
very great interprétation !
Êle é fabuloso. Ouça suas interpretações diariamente.
Прекрасно!!!
Да! Очень 😍
Good morning sir. You did a really good performance of the Fontana Version of Fantasie Impromptu.
Bravissimo
Beautifully done. Thank you. And bless the elephants. 🙂
I thought that I set speed up but I found that I didn't. It's Paul's amazing skills.
Speed isn't skill
@@jenh157 it's part of skill. the ability to control.
What are your feelings about using Hanon or Czerny to train for this level of runs? Are there other exercises that may be more effective? Asking for a friend 🙂😝
I have never played Hanon or Czerny. Perhaps I would play better if I had. Please tell your friend, in my view, Chopin's 10/2 is the one ring to rule them all. th-cam.com/video/dRxJ5qq5wS8/w-d-xo.html
@@PaulBartonPiano Thank you very much for your insights! I found your tutorial video already on 10/2. I believe with Hanon to warm up and 10/2 to add diversity to the repetitiveness of Hanon, I very well will be on my way to sorta play the runs more evenly and perhaps even faster! Truly appreciate all your videos and your talent.
@Paul Barton, I played Hanson and Czerny both but I still can't catch you up😢
Bravo
Una pieza increíble
Pro vip 😎. I wish i could like this more than once.
@ 3.18, the first quaver in the first bar is not dotted.
Nice!
высший пилотаж, моя мечта
Bravo 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Hi Mr Barton, would you mind sharing some practice tips on this piece?
When my right hand starts playing, my left hand always loses its rhythm. I tried to practice separate hands first but keeps failing when playing both hands.
Thank you for your reply!
Fine I’ll never play this 😢
You are so talented uwu
Playing the piano and watching the score passing over is a very unconventional way of teaching a little piano, as I just saw in your breathtaking video. I started taking piano lessons when I was 16 years old. Only a madman! Of course, after a few dozen lessons I gave up (fortunately...). In fact, I couldn't stand the solfeggio and had to join the bass clef with my left hand with the treble clef with my right one. However, I still remember the meaning of all the notations in the pentagram. These put together make me cry (with tears and all) when I hear something like the beautiful sounds that your skilled fingers produce. With some humor after all, the loose of salt in my tears helps an old man to keep the blood pressure steady... Congratulations, Paul Barton! Bravo! Bravissimio! Arcibravo!
I am a pianist and i never had solfeggio 😂
Es una de esas piezas tan bellas que da pena morir sin haberlas podido tocar. No es suficiente escucharlas. En fin.
Браво!
Amazing!!!! Bravo!!!!!!!
Omg I can't play that fast😂 i am still practicing...
Would love to see you play a Blumenfeld etude!!
Learning this is actually tougher than La Campenella. In fact, this is thee toughedt piece Ive ever set my mind too. When I say tough I mean the most mentally draining but worthwhile.
Say Paul Barton, have you ever tried La Campenella? Its worth it....🤜🤛 Thank You Sir
Фантастика!..🪗
This piano has a bigger sound, certainly.
I’m curious....between your Feurich 122 and 133, which do you prefer?
I really love both.
@@PaulBartonPiano thank you for replying. We love your work 😊

Wow!!!!!
БОЖЕСТВЕННО!!! БЛАГОДАРЮ ВАС!!! 👏👏👏👏👏❤❤❤❤❤😍😍😍😍😍🎆🎇🎆🎇🎆🎇
Please play some Nocturnes. Please please.🙏
Could you make a tutorial on this song?
👍🏻
Just curious, how long did it take you to get that take of you playing? Like did you have many errors and had to repeat?
probably not many, if he worked on dynamics and musicality, it’s quite easy to get the muscle memory to not mess up even a single time
❤️💖💕
How could one be so heartless as to thumb down this...If you don't like It, then just don't watch
❤❤❤❤
5:06 very smart
🌸
I Love you
😆I love your profile👍
@@Meuphonia thx! I love your profile too, I like it and where are you from?
@@fercho2168 Thanks! I am South Korean living in Australia.
@@Meuphonia oh that's cool!
I'm still confounded by the '4 over 3' parts, not that I can even begin to play this piece! It's still inspiring to see it played along with the score by a virtuoso. Maybe if I practice 40 hours a day for several years, I'll be able to play this.
Have you ever played Hungarian Rhapsody no.2?
Yes, when I was younger. I was a huge Liszt fan.
@@PaulBartonPiano I started learning piano last year with the ultimate purpose of playing it one day whether in 5 years or 50. I would very much love to hear your interpretation of the piece if that's possible!
On a side note do you have any tips for late beginner who would like to play liszt one day?
Thank you
Oh, I just learn how to play this part in a few seconds 0:11
I must be a prodigy 😌
👍👍👍👍👍
Is this Yamaha?
@dragans6792 no, it's a FEURICH 218 grand piano.
