Big haval fan , love all there cars I feel it’s very sad they don’t send out the newer models outside china sooner like h9 had a facelift in China 14 months back but yet Australian Russian and South African market get the old version now the new h6 LOOKS A BEAUTY I hope they bring it out to other markets quick like even. There pick up truck the one that sells in SA market now is crap but they have a much much better one running in china past 9-10 months but haven’t got it to international markets ... how popular is haval in SA ? Do haval sell to other African country’s ? Does haval have a manufacturing plant in Africa? .... good review of h2 can’t wait for more
Hi Samuel. My 1st ever subscriber🙂. Thank you very much, still learning and will try to improve. Haval in SA is gaining serious traction. People are buying it a lot. Since last year (2019), it has been pushing sales above 500 per month sometimes GWM sales get to +/- 1000 units. This is a lot considering some well known brands are still way below that. Most of the Haval sales are attributed to the H2. From what I am gathering they are selling in the neighbouring countries as well. I saw they are in Botswana, Zim and also Mozambique but some probably import them via South Africa as the main hubs for SADC region are here in SA. So far they are straight importers to SA, maybe in future they may consider SA as we are growing and manufacturers like Merc, Ford, BMW and Toyota have been here for many years and are increasing their investments with time.
Thanks for your videos brother, ‘appreciated! I’m thinking of buying a Haval car I just didn’t know which one but as a first time buyer I think I’ll go for this one.
Hi Victoria. Sorry I missed this. Currently the system says we averaging around 7.5L per 100km. Its thirsty in the hills and stop and goes in traffic, otherwise for long distance it can do more than 700km on one tank if you drive it just around 120km/h
Hi Sebuwa, how's the braking system, this other SA TH-camr said Haval brakes are faulty and that u can only get their tyers from China not in SA.. is that true😨??
When new I felt like they are not as responsive but got better with time. I googled the tyre size and type way back. The tyre is coming from a well known manufacture (Kumho) and the size is 235/55/R18. Unless if I am missing something you can get any brand anywhere of the same size since Kumho is quite expensive.
Well, I never had to replace a part since new, so my experience is so limited. I think supply chain is currently a problem from all manufactures which might be even worse for low selling/new brands.
Hi, Boot space is one of its main issues. it is not actually that big. As a matter of fact I have put much more things in a Renault Clio 4 than in the Haval H2 but we suppliment it with cabin space as we hardly travel with a lot of people and it has enough room inside to pack things up. Its weakness in the boot space is materially supported in the cabin.
Apart from the brand being co-owned by the repressive Communist Party of China, I think they have responded well to the international market needs and have moved away from copying what was there to all new designs. I would remove 1 point though from the exterior styling points because I feel that the front grille has Hyundai-ish look to it, and the rear upper side pillar is borrowed from the Opel design. I feel that they have not been tested thoroughly for rural South African conditions, that being many dirt roads and poor urban infrastructure. Drive it to Limpopo or the Eastern Cape so we can see if it doesnt fall apart as have previous models of GWM bakkies and Inyathi taxis, which are same country mates.
Hi Shaun, I have to say, not a lot of them are used on gravel roads, I do a bit of gravel now and then, it sounds solid when driving on those roads however only time will tell as most of them on the roads are only 3 years old and going for the 4th. I always look at cars that are 5 years old in the delearships to see how they are still holding up. So far it looks like we have a solid product though. GWM has been giving us questionable products for sometime, yes, however people started seeing a bit of reliability on Steed 5 and with the new P-Series things might change for good, we will see how it will hold up with time. Reputation is really not on their side but if they keep improving they will be given a 2nd look.
Fantastic review... I just picked mine up less than a week ago & I have to admit... quite impressed!
Value for money right there. Enjoy the experience Lavesh👏🏾👏🏾

Hie Sebuwa, how is the fuel consumption after 6months as it is claimed to be highly thirsty the 1st few months.

Hi Sebuwa, I see you put your car seat in the middle, can 2 people sit comfortably on either side of the seat?
how are the plastics now? lol
Hi Mashudu. Yes, the cabin space is enough to do that and the car will still look well balanced as its riding high
@@mashudugereda5480 so far so good. Still intact👌🏿

Hi...it's supposed to be launched in India in 2021...
is it true it takes a long time to wait for parts?

What about the boot space?

Hi , which model is it? 2020?
Hi, yes its the 2020 model. Luxury Variant.
