I mean, I think it is cool, I have been using pencil cases for storing stuff and they have a lot of cons this seems to fix, like padding and better fabrics, but here this thing is 50€… too much for me, but will keep an eye in case there is a big sale lol
The carry community is big on materials so even if it was the most generic pencil case ever, it would still get attention. Secondly, I haven’t seen a pencil case with such layout. The zippered pockets are very versatile and the caddy mode is more flushed than in most pencil cases. Thirdly, at the end of the day it would probably cost at least twice as much as I’d like to pay for it 🤐
$42 . I use like 3 pencil case , whenever i use my sling. This seems cool. Might purchase a few. Unlike bags, pouch is used often . From bags to bags, sling to slings.
Ty Aaron for the review. After watching many of your reviews, I've bought the Alpaka Elements Tech Case Mini recently. It's a nice one too, and double up as a sling that can grab-and-go.
For dopp kits I prefer hanging, flat/roll up types. Saves sink desk space and collects less moisture (especially for long trips). I can see this as a pen/school, or mini tech pouch Good glasses case, especially if you have one with interchangeable lenses (sunglasses, blue light blocking, reading) and side interior pouch can hold repair kit
Even if there is a counter, I'm travelling in Mexico and it's very common to just have a free-standing sink and no counter whatsoever. That's why the CAPs miss the mark for me as dopp kits (and the CAP1 could have easily been designed to hang).
Very nice! I do like organization within my bags so i find the need for something this small is not too big for me, good to keep extra bits together tho!
Nice channel, i'm gonna buy the dayfarer v2 now, cause of your vids, thx man. What are you doing with all your bags, that you buy. Are you using them all?
I'm thinking about using this as a memory card/battery/cleaning supplies pouch that I can just transfer from bag to bag. I'm a little afraid it's too small though. Wish I could try one out in person.
@@Nomads.Nation I’d love to go back to China! Went for 10 days a lifetime ago in Culinary School - not Hong Kong though, Shanghai and Kunming (and Thailand also).
This video was awesome, I would not have thought of other use cases! Will the video review of fyro come out before members have the chance to purchase it at a discount?
Hi, really love your enthusiasm for this, quick question on your thoughts on an xl tote bag specifically the large Snow Peak X-pac Tote Bag and others like it
Do you have any examples for a pouch, or a bag pack for that matters, fitted for a type one diabetic? For a one bag travel. I have been looking for quite some time now. It kinda bother me that every video in general of packing light never includes the chronically ill ones. Except that I really like your channel 😊
Thanks so much! I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a request for this type of pack out. It might be best to reach out to the brand to see what they say. Happy to help any other way I can though 💪🏻
I find I don’t need that much structure in my tech pouch/dopp kit since it’s going in my bag anyways. Good organization is important but most of the options on the market feel overly robust and padded.
@@jorgeh4591 currently using Travelon Tech Organizer for wires/smaller bits and a basic mesh pouch for bigger items/adaptors. I would love to find something that fits everything but I find all the bigger ones to have too much padding.
I'm ghetto poor so i'll be using a Ziploc bag (at least I know it's not SOLD OUT until Oct or Nov 2024) Evergoods... just do a Kickstarter so you don't have to deal with this shyte and piss ppl off.
lol plastic bags always work. I don’t know why ppl are getting pissed - they sold out, it happens all the time in the world with in demand products. Kickstarter or pre-sale could be a good idea though
Yeah I really don't understand the point of this one, even their own official video they had like a tube of toothpaste and a single toothbrush in it... The other option was just a pencil case which will ultimately ruin the internal fabrics. Very underwhelming. That said, I have the CAP 1L and 2L in X-Pac and this one is now in X-Pac. I'd probably find some use for it, but I also have a few other bags just like it already. Most airlines also give you a similar style bag that is really good quality if you fly business class with them.
Yea it’s a bit of a strange pouch, I couldn’t find use for it in my EDC but I keep some small gadgets and tools organized in it that I keep in my office

All backpack TH-camrs: wow the design, i have never seen anything like this
Me: that is a pencil case
So true.!
Agree A very expensive pencil case What a non-event
Exactly. "But look at those zippers compartments on the side!!!" Someone literally said that to me in a group. Lol.

I kind of wish they did 1L as an alternative to that flat one. A bit bigger would be great for a minimal tech pouch.
yea it's def too small for that, but has been great for my smaller tools

@NomadNation you're close its $42.00!
ah I was over!
@@Nomads.Nation To be honest I thought $55 was a perfect guess!

I use mine as a light medical cabinet.
Love that, it’s been my tool kit and I really like it
I guess its an upgrade of the Bellroy pencil case. Which I guess it would be the perfect use for it
great pencil case for sure
What’s the green pouch at 2:22 ? 🤔
not sure the bag name but its by a brand called Comfyable, you can find them on Amazon
