Great vid as always. I'd be shocked if you ever went back to the peak. They kind of set the standard, but at this point it's my least favorite tech pouch.

Thanks for the kind words and support, much appreciated! I'm sure you're right! Between this CAP2 and my Filip Raboch Clamshell Admin Pouch, the Peak Design Tech Pouch is tumbling down the list, and I haven't really explored this segment that thoroughly yet. I'm curious as to what your favorites are and if you have any recommendations for ones I should take a look at? Appreciate any insights you can offer!🤙

@@FlawlessActivity Oh man, I have a lot to say about tech pouches lol. I pack cables, dongles, and chargers in mine. I find that too many pouches are over engineered with protection. Yes, dongles and chargers need some padding, but not much. Cables really just need a home. No padding needed. Pouches like the PD and Alpaka have way too much fabric inside. Compromises what you can fit. PD ends up looking like a bloated toad. I also despise shoving cables into elastic bands. Or just elastic bands in general.
Cap2 is magnificent for this. Cables can go in the zipped lid. Or for light travel, toiletries in the lid and tech in the main section. Aside from the Cap2 i6 REALLY like the Step 22 Tenkile. Very similar to cap 2. A bit taller, and just seems to fit things a wee bit better.

Thanks for the video! How is the Ecopak material? Does it feel like an Xpac? Is it shiny? I'm thinking about getting the CAP 1l Ecopak, just to check out the material first. If I like it, I will probably go for the CPL 24l, too.

I would say the ECOPAK EXP400 that they use most closely looks and feels like X-Pac VX42 that is used on the Olive Unicorn 2.0, which is a good thing, IMO. Now, this makes sense, because VX42 is 420 denier, where EXP400 is 400 denier, but just for sake of completeness, EPX400's face is polyester, whereas VX42's face is nylon. I would say it has some sheen to it, reflects light. The video is pretty accurate to how it looks to the eye. I think your plan to try a CAP1 first makes sense, but I will say, in hand, I would have no concerns over the durability of the material if used on an actual backpack. It definitely feels durable and up for that task. As I said in the video, it really overkill for a pouch, but I like that! Hope that's helpful! Feel free to ask if you have any more questions!🤙

@FlawlessActivity Thanks for your feedback. Much appreciated. I already have the standard CAP 1l, but I'm also not a big fan of the material. A lot of pictures and videos can't convey what the material actually looks like in terms of color accuracy and sheen. So, based on your video, I think I now have a pretty good idea.
