Alright so, all control decks have the same difficulty when fighting Lucci. If you can't get more than 1-2 bodies to stick on board, your end game suffers. Shanks however, ekes past this requirement by having his big bodies able to gain immediate board value with rush 10c Shanks. What you'll be trying to do is fight for board control all game while pressuring and swinging into opponent's life, while not necessarily caring to counter for your characters. On board removal bodies will be key in this match up as well, just like in every other control deck (enel decks for instance). Benn Beckman also can trash their sabos without any power reduction, and if you're trying to swing over rebecca, Limejuice can help with that, although that'd be throwing a 2k counter for an unblockable attack so make it count! Silvers Rayleigh removal is REALLY STRONG at pruning their board even if by the time you play him he's the only character left. But if that's the case, you might already be in the death loop of characters dying one after the other by black removal. Dragon 8c is also great since it's a large body that will be able to gain its immediate value and rush either onto their board or into their life. And Gol.D.Roger is EXTREMELY good into Lucci, especially if you managed to keep 3 active swings on board, your leader and two characters (including roger) most likely. Gol.d.roger makes it so ANY TIME your opponent activates blocker, not just for the roger attack, they lose the game so you'll be able to poke into their hand size for free with your leader and other character swing and THEN hit em with roger. But yeah, your keys to success are: 1) On board, 1 character removal. 2) Immediate Pressure into their life (if it means equipping don onto searcher uta turn 2? Then absolutely.) 3) Stick 1-2 large bodies and use them to prune your opponent's board. The only way they're getting rid of them is with cost reduction. Attacking into it will be not great for them for the most part. (because of your leader ability) Hope that helps! -Luke
We really want to start doing updated guides but right now it's just a bottleneck issue of how much time we have to develop and more importantly edit videos. Hopefully our growth continues at a good rate where we can start to carve out more time and pour money into doing more stuff like that 💜
If you're talking about your leader ability, it sites ["once per turn" You may activate this ability when your opponent attacks.] So though it may not specify in the little blue bubble "on your opponent' turn" it does state in the sentence that it can only be triggered once an opponent attacks. Long-short: Nope. Only on Opponent's turn and only once they attack. You can also decide WHEN to use that so if your opponent has multiple swings you have multiple activation windows.
How is this deck against Lucci? And what is the main stragedy there

What is the best budget card for Rayleigh?
There is quite literally no card like Rayleigh, that's why he's so expensive.
Quick question, is shanks ability only on your opponent’s turn? Or can you activate on your own turn too
If you're talking about your leader ability, it sites ["once per turn" You may activate this ability when your opponent attacks.] So though it may not specify in the little blue bubble "on your opponent' turn" it does state in the sentence that it can only be triggered once an opponent attacks.

You Halo reminded me of hypnotoad
?
oh! Haki! Well I mean same effect >u>
Fire! Let’s goooo!
Can shanks be used on both your turn and your opponent’s turn, or just once every other turn?
Leader shanks happens when your opponent declares an attack on their turn
10cost shanks power reduction happens during both turns at all times
@@JoyBoysTCG ah okay perfect thank you
nico robin next please
all are on their way, but I believe with the pipeline we have right now our next two should be Buggy followed by Lim
@@JoyBoysTCG love the new buggy deck
waiting for the blackbeard guide! >

Has been confirmed uta is now canon.
Yes Uta has always been Canon but nobody cares about Canon vs non. It's meaningless
