    Thanks for posting this. I am glad to hear the attack 4 is as good as the attack 3. Hopefully even better on wear which was already good for such a sticky tyre.

    I'm having a pair of the RA4 fitted to my F900xr tomorrow, a few years ago I fitted the RA3 to my SuperDuke GT and had the TC turned down or off on warm days. With all the power and torque of that 1301cc V-Twin the rear RA3 had a hard life but never let go, excellent tyres!
    The Road 5 front on my XR has worn into a wedge and has started to run wide on corners at random, I did not expect that from Michelin rubber. I'm hoping for better from the Continental's.

    Conti is the best!!! I got the sport attack 4 on my cb 1000 and it is just fenomenal.

    Hi Matthias, great video and review. I too have the S22's and i fond them VERY good in the summer months, but they do wear quickly and are hopeless on a touring bike. Now i am thinking of the Conti RA 4. How are they now you have had them a while???

      Hi Tom, thank you! I found the CRA4 much better than the S22. The CRA4 is the best road tire imo!

    Hi !
    Ich hätte da mal eine Frage. Ich besitze ebenfalls die S1000R seit einem Jahr und bin 8000km mit dem S22 gefahren. Nie Probleme gehabt!
    Seit dem Reifenwechsel (wieder s22) flattert mein Lenker ab 180 sehr stark. Also es ist mir nicht möglich über 180kmh zu fahren. Hast du die selbe Erfahrung ?
    Ich freue mich über eine Antwort ! :)

    • @matthiasonadventures
      @matthiasonadventures  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! Mein S22 hat nur 2000 km gehalten 😇. In der Zeit hatte ich nie Probleme mit Lenkerflattern. Danach bin ich auf den Conti Road Attack 4 umgestiegen, da ich den Reifen deutlich besser finde.

    Hello
    how do you rate new tires after the driving season?
    how many kilometers have you driven?
    how about tire grip?

      @matthiasonadventures  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi! I sold my S1000R soon after I bought the tires for my new R 1250 GS. I drove the CRA4 about 1500 km on the S1000R. Amazing tire!!! Very good handling and grip in dry and wet! 👍🏻

    Brand new tyres are better then the old burnedout? Seems fair to me 🤔

    • @matthiasonadventures
      @matthiasonadventures  ปีที่แล้ว

      As I tell in the video the S22 tires were brand new 4 weeks ago! So I‘m actually comparing my experience of the new S22 vs the new CRA4. And for me personally the CRA4 is the better tire.

      @matthiasoncarsbikes I would like to see who, as a non-professional rider, would recognise a tyre brand in a blind test. But hey mate good for you if it gives you a good feeling, enjoy the great motorcycle!

      @inscribedpizza as I told in the Video: sold my S 1000 R after 2 months and 4000 km when my new R 1250 GS was delivered one year ago. Enjoying the GS on Conti Road Attack tires since then. You find the videos on my channel. But thank you! 👍🏻

      @@matthiasonadventures I don’t know what was wrong with the s22’s but you should have got a lot more out of them than 2,000 km’s. I had mine on a SDGT and got 7,000 miles out of them. But yeah I tell anyone I can about the conti’s. Most of my friends and internet people love the road 5 and I’m like WTF?? The roads are terrible

    • @matthiasonadventures
      @matthiasonadventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@drewyager4020 there was nothing wrong with these S22‘s. If you have 165 HP and drive the bike pretty hard, 2000 km is not bad on public roads. But if you are more gentle with the throttle you can get 10.000 km and more out of them for sure. Track it properly on the other side and you will not get more than 300-500 km.
