Cross is always gracious in defeat...most players would be pissed off when their opponents celebrates a victory like that but cross is absolute class in that aspect. Great World championship so far.
Are you okay? 14:55. He may seem 'gracious' in defeat but trying to distract your opponent midgame is far from humble plus Cross 'always' is a bit of a stretch since he only does at a rarity but he did apologise in the moment but he should know not to do that in the first place.
Very impressive stuff from Dimitri. Don't count him out for this title. That sorta thing was needed tbh after Devon and Steve missed 72 darts at a double between them... unbelievable...
Professionals shouldn't miss so many doubles like those two did, Doubles seems to be Petersen's achilles heel, he can't afford to keep missing them if he wants to go any further.
I don't love Paul Lim. I know he's that “One Asian Guy“ who would hit that red button while the rest of the group is still thinking if that's a good idea at all but that's nothing I support. I like him though.
@@WSNBM-1908 Denk je? De laatste maanden staat hij echt alles behalve wisselvallig te spelen imo🤔 You think so? For the last months, he's been everything but inconsistent imo🤔
robb cross really seems to be a very nice person without any aggression. that makes him very likeable but may also be the reason why he doesn't win anymore. he made his money and he allows his opponents to succeed when he really could out play most of them.
Funniest thing is, is that rob cross is likely to be in the worlds top 4 by the end of the tournament so he would still make the premier league P.s can Dirk van duivenbode break Phil Taylor’s record of 16 world titles? Unlikely, can he win 10? Why not
They should really make it so that the player(s) eliminated after judgement night can't compete next year. Cause unless the Asp gets to the semis or someone ranked higher than Durrant (who aren't the top 3) gets to the final (or we have some completely unexpected winner), he's gonna be 4th and he clearly doesn't deserve it.
He'll be in the top 4 unless Aspinall reaches the semis, any of Wade/Smith/Dimitri/Chizzy/Duzza reach the final, or anyone else other than those mentioned (excluding Wright/MVG/Price) wins it. You wouldn't rule out Aspinall getting to the semis or even Wade, Smith or Dimitri making the final based on current form. And who knows, Whitlock could win this thing, or De Sousa, or even Ando if he turns up. Or Huybrechts! It's a very open field.
@@DanTheStripe with how Huybrechts plays this tournament, I really do feel like he should be considered a true dark horse. But Huybrechts is also prone to a mental slip up what can cause him to plummet in form out of nowhere
After winning the matchplay, he got injured. He's supposed to use that until the day he gets surgery but with the darts calendar it hasn't been possible.

things were looking a lil scary for Noppert... and Petersen's face after that D1 lol.. not surprised Cross is out - DvD is in good form atm (Van den Bergh too)
There's 2 camera's stationed at the area they point at and next to those camera's, there's a few people (each player is allowed 1 supporter to be present). The camera's you can see from time to time, the people next to it are always out of frame.
I don't like spoilery titles. Anyways I'm not too surprised about Lewis's and Cross's crash out for being how inconstant / inactive in the past weeks and months and how good van Duijvenbode has become recently.

Agree. Although I believe Carolissen is the one who's the most lucky, since he made it through to round 2 without even throwing round 1, because Martijn Kleermaker was tested positive on Corona. Actually, Carolissen was tested positive as well, a few days before the tournament started. He took another test and, as he was heading to the airport to go back home, he got his test results back and it was negative. So the fact that he actually played on the WC was true luck for him
@@skullturtle180 Definitely. He definitely had chances there. But so did Martijn Kleermaker. I really think that game could've gone either way. But Carolissen is a great player without a doubt. He'll get his chances in the future. Especially when he keeps up his training with Peterson
